Amazing album! Was expecting a different sound when I saw country rock, but was very pleasantly surprised, this album is great.
Great album! Closer to 4.5 than 5, but they don't have that
Second album in a row I've already listened to, good though!
Third album I've already listened to in a row, I've listened to around 200 total how does this happen, but still great hip hop
Really boring minus title track, 1.5 stars but rounded up to 2.
Good classic rock, 7.75/10
Best track: Wild horses (8.5/10)
Worst track: Cant you hear me knocking (7/10)
Alright, not going back to any of the songs after, but an enjoyable listen. Kinda blended together
Best and worst: blended too much to pick one
5.5/10
Good, not enough lyrics/vocals for me generally though.
Worst:Asabache
Best: Aggo elegua
7/10
I see why people call them the best of the big 4 grunge bands, although I prefer nirvana and PJ.
Best track: sickman
Worst track Hard to pick, title track I guess
4.75
Good, not as good as some peopl say, but a good hip hop album
Favorite:chess boxing
Least favorite: one of the interludes
Jesus CHRIST this is the most boring album I've ever listened to. It's so boring let me listen to something else please an album that isn't just similar guitar riffs let me out let me out let me out
Write a whole thing, but good album, way better than the one yesterday.(Live and dangerous) Middle falls off a bit, but beginning and end are great
Best: Behind Blue Eyes
Worst: Going Mobile
Been meaning to listen for a while, unsurprisingly. Good? Not my personal fave beatles album, but good
Favorite song: Medley
Least Favorite: Here comes the sun (still good)
4.75 stars
I was not expecting to enjoy this nearly as much as I do going into it. AMAZING album, feels like an earlier version of a lot of later experimental hiphop, beats are so good, and vocals sound good in this context. Will relisten, genuine 10/10 album, my 10th or so
Favorite: Stop Dat
Least Favorite: Jezebel
Alright, feels like tracy chapman pre tracy chapman, 7/10
Good album! Papa was a rollin' stone is the standout track by far, but the rest of the album is alright.
Alright, not really my style of music, but it was ok
Underrated rap album, I get why people dislike it but I am not one of those people. It is not a great album statement, but it is an amazing collection of songs
4.75
Favorite song:Water
Least favorite:Break you off
50% really good 50% boring
Great, there is some filler so not a 5 star though
Great britpop album, seems harder rock than most and really enjoyable
Great alt rock/triphop album, 4.5
Boring ripoff Coldplay, who are already ripoff Radiohead. Sounds like elevator music but with bad whiny pop punk vocals, but it it had heard ok computer once 3 years ago and is trying to describe it within that context
Alright, seriously overrated though
Alright, was enjoyable but not going to relisten
Decent, but can I get something more recent?
Really good, feels very shoegazey and interesting. Almost 5, but rounding down to 4
Solid 7/10, good country ish album
Production bumped this up 2 stars
Everyone needs to stop putting ballads in non ballad focused albums. They're always terrible. In this case they're partially sexist and just sound terrible. The actual country songs are alright generally like 3 stars. Our private life however, is genuinely an amazing, righteously angry song that sounds happy, and raised this album up 1 star
Almost a 5, REALLY good, big iron is obviously great, and the rest was almost as good
Alright, relatively enjoyed the listen
THE sad indie rock album.
Awesome album, five years is AMAZING, and the rest of the album is really good
Good album! I see why people love it, but it's just ok. I would probably be much harsher if this wasn't the first smiths/Morrissey album I got
Great! Prefer the solo work of eno, but that doesn't mean this isn't amazing
Seems more shoegazey than britpoppy like I was expecting, which is personally unfortunate.
How have I not listened yet? Amazing and excited for more bob
Genuinely amazing album, shame she's a far right crazy now
Worst of the nick cave albums I've heard, but still great
Overhated, sounds more like pop punk than nu metal personally
Ballads are generally mid minus dreams, but otherwise good
Alright, way worse than Ziggy stardust though. 3.5 or so
This really isn't my thing, probably will revisit later and maybe like it, but way too repetitive
Good album, not a new favorite or anything, but it's good
Great genuinely, really enjoy this
I need to listen to more doors if this is what the doors sound like, really enjoyed this.
Started dragging 2/3 in but last song is peak
Top 5 albums oat, had already listened
Genuinely just a really good indie rock album
Decent album, not a new favorits but it's a decent shoegazey britpop album
Good, first queen album I've listened to and has some misses, but without those it would be 5
I kept seeing stuff about how experimental and weird this album is, what are you talking about??? This is a relatively generic alt rock album, not the residents. Let down on my expectations, but still good
List of things I like about gnr:
Slash is a good guitarist, and most of the band is very technically talented
List of things I dislike about gnr:
Axl rose is a horrid vocalist, bottom 5 of all time
Lyrics are terrible
Music is boring and sounds the exact same flavor of boring throughout the course of this hour long album
How is this dog shit album so universally beloved?
Pretty good, but for some reason I keep getting the who after terrible albums as a palate cleanser. Thank you 1001 albums gods.
Not as good as London calling, but it's a very good punk album
Talented musicians making boring music
Good, although slightly repetitive
Decent vocal harmonies, California dreamin is obviously peak AF and everything else is really good
I think this album is needlessly edgy in a lot of places. I do not think that makes it all inherently terrible
Good background music, but I don't see what really interests everyone else
Has like an hour of relatively filler tracks, but the other hour is so peak it's insane
The start of this album is great, and it just gets progressively worse (none of it is bad though)
I can only find half of this album ANYWHERE, so that half is pretty mediocre
Pretty good, although not great
Pretty decent, although not great
I did not realize this was a different album than the last one for WAY too long. Not especially interesing
Best Christmas album I've heard
Genuinely just sounds like background music, idk why I just haven't enjoyed much of the jazz I've listened to
Really enjoyed, almost a 5
The fact that he dated his 13 year old cousin really ruined it for me, along with the first song being about dancing at a high school when he was like 30
Enjoyed, despite how sexual it was
Feels like a parody of glam rock, but a really goddamn good one.
I rated this a while ago, with something bigger, but it didn't go through. It's good!
Pretty alright, but sounds pre beatles, unlike the better kinks albums which sound post beatles
Pretty good, but not anything incredible. Will not re listen, but enjoyed
Sounds like a mix of lofi, radiohead, and stone sour
Not as good as yoshimi, but few albums are
I just dont enjoy it as much as i should
Liked it less than I feel like I should
Good, but definitely not the first alt country album, as the description mentions. Hallowed ground was the year before (also definitely not the first), and many more before
A couple days ago I listened to 1.5 hours of https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pKQp61e94VE, and it was magnitudes more enjoyable than this album's 3rd part. Rest of it was ok though
Was expecting this to be around 3 stars. Why the fuck is this SO GOOD
Somehow never actually listened, and I see how this changed so many people's lives and music taste
If there was like 25% less 80s cheese, it would be a 5
Pretty good, simbe's way better though
I didn't think I would like this because I'm pretty meh on this version of hurt (probably because of how much I love the original, and this version just does NOT stand up to me), but every other song on here is amazing
Few standouts, but so much filler
Meadowlarks is the only kind of filler song on this album, and it's instantly followed up with my favorite fleet foxes song soooo
Enjoyable, but too much filler to be amazing
A bunch of just really sexist and homophobic lyrics, but the beats were good along with the songs that weren't about that
Alright, not great, but not terrible either. Pretty mediocre post punk. Some songs were fun, and some were boring
Production is amazing, along with the general message
Pre revolver kinks were better than pre revolver beatles
I LOVE everything about this album except his voice for some reason. It's really weird because I love Cohen and Dylan and all of the other bad singer, but his voice irritates me. Everything else is still so perfect it gets a 5
Got rain dogs yesterday, and I'm starting to like his voice way more now
Obviously one of the greatest rock albums ever, imo pretty significantly better than nevermind. Genuinely love this album and every song on here
Enjoyed, obviously the weight is peak. Rest of the album was good, with the first track being especially good.
Boring, listened to this while doing homework and was more focused on the homework, which is NOT common. Just sounds like the same thing for however long this went on
Intermission was genuinely my favorite track here, but the rest was good
Pretty decent, although not anything incredible
Don't love it, but it's pretty good
Liked fear of a black planet pretty significantly more
Pretty good, enjoyed it a lot. Night swimming is really good, and much more introspective than other rem albums I've listened to
It was ok, very repetitive though
