I kept seeing stuff about how experimental and weird this album is, what are you talking about??? This is a relatively generic alt rock album, not the residents. Let down on my expectations, but still good

Everyone needs to stop putting ballads in non ballad focused albums. They're always terrible. In this case they're partially sexist and just sound terrible. The actual country songs are alright generally like 3 stars. Our private life however, is genuinely an amazing, righteously angry song that sounds happy, and raised this album up 1 star
