Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Dec 10 2025

We never listened to the whole album. Several songs were so familiar. Growing up, we all thought Black Sabbath was so hard and intense. No harder than the other bands at that time. Worth the listen. Ozzy's voice is very recognizable, but not as transporting or melodic as Robert Plant's. Rat Salad reminds me of Moby Dick. One of my new faves

Debut by Björk
Dec 11 2025

Lil hippy dippy existential. Some songs have more of a beat and melody that I enjoy.

The Band by The Band
Dec 12 2025

I would love to be sitting in a small venue listening to these guys

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Dec 15 2025

An album I’m familiar with but still found songs I hadn’t heard. Great drums and vocals. Classic

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Dec 16 2025

Never listened. The songs seemed familiar without ever hearing them before. Sultans of Swing is obviously the only one familiar on the album. Nice and chill tracks.

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Dec 17 2025

That was a fun album to hear. We've heard similar music, but these escaped us.

Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper
Dec 18 2025

We are on the fence with this one. Some of the songs were decent and the others were lackluster. It can be said that you dont know what youre going to get with Alice Cooper

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
Dec 19 2025

Absurd lyrics fitting into a "soundtracky" feeling album. Some of his ballads felt dreary. This album feels like an emanation for other musicians with similar sounds

Abbey Road by Beatles
Dec 22 2025

I remember sitting in our living room listening to this album on the headphones with super thick curly cord to the hifi. This is the nostalgic shit. Love how they can sing about dark stuff and somehow make it feel whimsical. Oh Darling gives passion and emotion and is my fave track.

Here, My Dear by Marvin Gaye
Dec 24 2025

Not my jam. Not terrible.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Dec 30 2025

Bluegrass and folk feel. Liked it more than other Stones stuff

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Dec 31 2025

He reminds me of Chris Stapleton with a different band style behind him

Frampton Comes Alive by Peter Frampton
Jan 01 2026

With the exception of the two famous tracks, this one left me wanting to go buy some food and a beer at the concert.

Queen II by Queen
Jan 08 2026

Classic Queen sound, it’s everything I expect from them. Not sure why this album wasn’t as popular as others, but it’s no less amazing to listen to.

Miriam Makeba by Miriam Makeba
Jan 09 2026

Wow! She appears to be the catalyst of lots of trends in the 60s.

Alien Lanes by Guided By Voices
Jan 16 2026

not their biggest fans

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Jan 19 2026

Just what I expected from Prince. Enjoyable listening. Nothing outstanding

Ten by Pearl Jam
Jan 27 2026

It doesnt get much better than this for 90s grunge

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys
Jan 30 2026

Pet shop boys have a very distinct sound and style that I really enjoy. This album ticks all the boxes

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Feb 02 2026

Nothing else I would rather rap to. This wails!!

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Feb 03 2026

I feel like we should watch the movie. Last time was as a teenager

Station To Station by David Bowie
Feb 05 2026

His music is either super fun or pralines and dick. Oh well

Coffee shop vibes. Nothing to say one way or the other
