Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Dec 15 2025

This is one of those disco staples you can’t help but move to. For me, it just feels overall playful and purely created to trigger dance and fun. Two songs I could not prevent myself from forwarding, they seemed so repetitive and poppy. But Overall though this list brings backyard memories and got me grooving.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Dec 16 2025

I know this is so classic, and I do love thriller. But really this block is also very reminiscent of Off the Wall to me and is similar pop tunes. I’d love the background noise but would not choose this for the feels I need music for.

Purple Rain by Prince
Dec 17 2025

This is in my personal top albums, I find it dense and layered and emotionally powerful. Even after all here years in hear it the same each time.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Dec 18 2025

Powerful classic rock goodness with all the teenage nostalgia blended in

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Dec 22 2025

I just can’t do it - the majority of songs except two I find draggy and torturous.

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Dec 23 2025

I’m glad to learn this musical selection, but would not ever turn to this style by choice. It was fun and felt like I was outside doing the salsa to sunset with a drink in my hand while laughing.

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
Dec 25 2025

This artist has a way of articulating her words that began grating on my nerves. Music was typical of the 80’s and I missed it the first go around in high school. Not really a miss.

Bossanova by Pixies
Dec 29 2025

Missed it the first go round and found it heart pumping and fun!

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Dec 30 2025

The uniqueness and tone of this block of songs does make it riveting, but many songs sound the same and fall flat for me. It grew on me and I will listen again.

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
Dec 31 2025

Did not like, I tried and it was late lonnnggggggg

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Jan 01 2026

Familiar and Meh for me

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Jan 02 2026

I do love these pleasant jazzy tunes, the nostalgia is raging from my days living in Georgia but I still like it now.

Low by David Bowie
Jan 05 2026

The uniqueness and tone of this block of songs does make it riveting, but many songs sound the same and fall flat for me. It grew on me and I will listen again.

So by Peter Gabriel
Jan 08 2026

Yes on this one over all, probably overplayed in the 80’s and never gets old. Songs stick with you.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Jan 14 2026

Love this album and missed the group in my youth!

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Jan 15 2026

Smooth tunes for drinking wine and making dinner! Loved this Latin Norah Jones similarity.

Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper
Jan 16 2026

This is mostly noise for me - I like two of the songs and those are not memorable

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Jan 19 2026

Memories mixed with these tunes make it a go to soother for me - in today’s terms this duo feels odd and I don’t know if they would make it. But I still like it!

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Jan 20 2026

Classic and love most of it. It is mesmerizing.

Scum by Napalm Death
Jan 22 2026

Death to my ears; I found no redeeming qualities in the music whatsoever.

Transformer by Lou Reed
Jan 26 2026

Pleasant sounds and typical of 70’s for me, meh overall with a few soulful moments.

Jan 30 2026

Pop and instrumental sounds for a lighthearted experience and nothing moving.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Feb 17 2026

Found this choice to be interesting although somewhat monotonous

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 23 2026

This comes from pain and experiences and is soulful - such an early example of his style. I am drawn to it.

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Feb 26 2026

This collection is more nostalgia for me than enjoyment - it just blends into noise after a while.

High Violet by The National

Mar 04 2026

Not bad but just ok for me - I like country and this is pleasant.

Imagine by John Lennon
Mar 09 2026

How can you not love Imagine? Other than 2-3 songs this is a little meh for me. It is of its time and uniqueness of the artist. I would listen again.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Mar 12 2026

It’s impossible to detach nostalgia from this collection and it is all fresh for the era and perfect pop!

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Mar 13 2026

I understand the artistic approach and did not hate this album but it becomes repetitive and not enjoyable.

Mar 16 2026

Mar 17 2026

Nostalgic but hard to choose with such offensive language - rhythm really is bomb

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Mar 24 2026

Ok with classic rock appeal. It felt repetitive.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Mar 26 2026

I never tire of this collection; he has many treasures later in his career but this album is the best I think. Before he moved into too much Pop. The nostalgia cannot be separated , I love it.

Mar 27 2026

Old school tunes for chilling and can’t help that I do love it

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Mar 30 2026

Metallica by Metallica
Mar 31 2026

Classic and just right to reminisce on the era

Orbital 2 by Orbital
Apr 06 2026

Just had a hard time with this - the collection is more suited for a modern bar reception area as background comfort.

25 by Adele
Apr 07 2026

Flawless and soulful, a go to to feel everything Music moves within us.

Teen Dream by Beach House
Apr 09 2026

While this is not bad music, only a single song had a soul. The rest is bubble gum and nothing special. It’s like they heard something of the era and decided we can do that too.

Fragile by Yes
Apr 12 2026

Overall just Meh for me, but I’m very familiar with roundabout and it’s the one single included which is interesting

Apr 13 2026

This collection was new to me! While not a go-to, it’s pleasant for a dinner party and easy listening to enjoy a moment that needs background soothing.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Apr 14 2026

Yes to all the only rock n roll vibes and history of this album!!

Apr 16 2026

Sit by the fire and smoke music. Some of this collection feels like an acid trip. The background additions and choices make what could be a boring song haunting and deep. Again it is hard to separate nostalgia for me. It’s all connected.

Third by Portishead
Apr 17 2026

I don’t find anything to dislike but also did not really take to this album - although I like techno. The Tori Amos atmosphere had a draw but overall I was not compelled to listen again or think about it.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Apr 18 2026

Overall a very fun album, though some are monotonous. It’s a groove for sure, and has its place. Drive music more than happy hour music.

I think this era of rock is my soulmate; I can enjoy this any time all the time. Good blend of soft and hard and easy listening.

Apr 21 2026

Dreamy music that puts you inside the tune and emotion. If you want an escape experience this is it.

Not feeling it - seems like the identity of this music is undetermined. Am I punk? Am I pop? Am I rock? Do I have a soul?

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Apr 25 2026

A couple iconic songs and a list of girl power music - a bit reminiscent of GoGo girls (who came after) in many places! Likeable.

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers

Soft funk is how I see this music, and there is nothing not to like. Fireside and lakeside, no agenda.

Blood, Sweat & Tears by Blood, Sweat & Tears

May 10 2026

This is a great first album I missed entirely until it arrived in my album for the day. It rips all the way through and I like 80pct of it, including the masterful free form guitar scream. It needs a few times to be fully appreciated.

Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
May 22 2026

yes, always to this classic. it’s just that overall pleasant and catchy. it fits into life.

a fair collection with a couple nice moments, but for me overall Meh.

Short and sassy, it’s a keeper and classic to the era.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Jun 27 2026
