Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra

3.1 This was a fun listen, gets you in the romantic root. Every song, structure wise sound the same but if it works it works. Frankie hog at it again. I sent one song from it to pookie. Notable events of the day Work: Had meeting about planner from microsoft support person. Personal: On call with pookem after the meeting and yapped. Then KK called and we yapped about consciousness.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Dec 23 2025

2.2/5 Nothing stands out here. No particular track jumped out at me. I liked madman across the water, and its not like the others are bad but i think because of how much other good music i have been running into recently i just didnt think this was anything special. And i even gave it two listens. Recent Notable Music related events I listened to the greek song with lyrics last night while i was being emo about not getting enough attention. Other notable events of the day. Conversion at work about bitcoin made me want to figure out how it works better. There was also talk about the economy and things like that of which i am very much uninformed. Didn't contribute much to the conversation.

On The Beach by Neil Young
Dec 25 2025

3.4/5 12:20pm Sounds like something Kidist would like. Definitely has more potential with more listens. Will report back after my second round. It's good, I will have to circle back.

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Dec 29 2025

3.4/5 It feels like an injustice not having coffee in my system when listening to this album. I liked it, I listened to it while on my way to work on Monday 29th of December 2025. It is a vibe.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Dec 30 2025

3.4/5 Good generic metal to put in the background while caffeinated

California by American Music Club
Dec 31 2025

3.8/5 I think this has great potential to be a favourite. I can't believe its not available on spotify so that means i won't be able to easily listen to it. I will have to remember to listen to it on youtube.

4/5 Wow, this was amazing. So jazzy and funky. I could barely sit still in my chair while working. Already added several tracks to liked songs.

Third by Portishead
Jan 02 2026

3.3/5 Reminds me of crank so far. It's decent but not amazing. The only standout song so far is `We carry one`. It would be good for a movie sound track. A sci-fi movie to be exact.

My Generation by The Who
Jan 06 2026

The second half of the album definitely caries. The Beatles lite. A legal matter is my favorite track so far.

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Jan 08 2026

I don't have much to say. Very rocky rock.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Jan 12 2026

3.8/5 This was much better than I expected. Once again, my biases are proved to be unjustified.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Jan 14 2026

1.5/5 Millennial core.

Jan 16 2026

4.0/5 Amazing so far. Fishin 4 religion -> Teach a man to fish -> U. What a great succession of songs right in the middle of the album, i have to relisten to this more.

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Jan 19 2026

I had no idea 2 Cellos based their adaptation of the 9th symphony on the first track of this album. Lol Moby dick is a percussionist's love child.

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
Jan 20 2026

This entire album feels like one continues amazing song. Such a vibe.

Bitte Orca by Dirty Projectors
Jan 22 2026

3.5/5 Okay this was looking like a typical good on first listen 3 star album but Useful Chamber just earned it a relisten. And they remind me so much of BCNR.

Jan 26 2026

Stankonia by OutKast
Feb 13 2026

It was alright, definitely some good songs in here but it went on for soooo long. And too much moaning interludes for me.

Low by David Bowie
Feb 16 2026
Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 18 2026

This was much better than I expected it to be. I get why people used to think they sounded like radiohead.

Elephant by The White Stripes

Graceland by Paul Simon
Mar 20 2026

This was actually quite a lively album. "You can call me Al" and Gumbook are the standout tracks.

Music From The Penguin Cafe by Penguin Cafe Orchestra
Mar 27 2026

Its more so a 3.5. The last track is outstanding. Their band name might actually earn them 4 stars.
