I think I could really grow to love this album, but it did feel like certain songs were blending together. The only songs that really stuck out to me that I’d listen to again were “Roadhouse Blues” and “The Spy”. Still an enjoyable album, I just prefer other albums of theirs.
I liked “Buckets of Rain” a lot and “If You See Her Say Hello”. The first two songs were a good introduction too, but he lost me around the middle. Still a good album but I just don’t love his voice. However, love love love the guitar!

i’ve certainly never heard anything quite like it. i can understand why it would be included in this collection of albums you must listen to because it’s different. i understand that it’s supposed to be uncomfortable, and i think it achieves that to some degree. at the heart of it, i just really do not enjoy it.
i mean it’s hard not to like this album. it’s good; it’s solid. you can’t listen to sweet emotion without thinking of dazed and confused, which is such a fabulous movie. i personally love “You See Me Crying”, but all of the songs are great. an enjoyable listen!
It’s a beautiful album. I love Arcade Fire. My favorite is “My Body is a Cage”.

it’s really unfortunate because i love radiohead but my god i really don’t like this album. some of it is downright uncomfortable with the electronic production, and some of it is just blah. i do still like “how to disappear completely” and “motion picture soundtrack” but that’s really it.
i definitely wouldn’t listen again, but it was okay. electronic music really isn’t for me!

I loved Aretha as a little girl, and I think I’ll love her my whole life. Such a beautifully perfect voice. I love this album with all my heart. “Do right woman, Do right man” is one of the best songs of all time.

this album is so full of nostalgia. it’s truly beautiful, and i have such a soft spot for QOTSA. “i was a teenage hand model” is one of the best songs of all time.
