My 1st note here đļ
I appreciate the value and legacy of soul music, but the improv and discontinued melodies are just not my thing, never were :) Still a good way to open this project, challenging myself to listen to something I would have never listen on my own accord đ
Rather enjoyable and chilling instrumental that tells a story đē No specific notes except that it has definitely expanded my horizons music-wise :)
Cheerful, young album of King of Pop, a true intro into what he was going to become in the future, with just a sparkle of mischief and rhythm that makes one's hips swing even involuntarily â¨đĒŠ
Glory Box is a masterpiece per se, but this genre is not my cup of tea on the overall scale, not something I would play and listen in my free time, that is, definitely not my #1 choice :)
Utterly refreshing, I really liked it, defining figure, a legend, not a minute wasted, consistent quality thoughout the whole album :)
I respect his life and work, but this album was rather idle, that is, almost all the songs sound the same, melodically and thematically :)
Quite refreshing, although not my usual choice of music; really good when one wants to listen to something in the background while being productive :)
Dolly is an icon per se, but I am not a fan of country genre, sadly :) Songs are cheerful and her voice is super thin, while singing of very serious topics and heartaches - that part is something I never fully understood.
A true masterpiece, loved it so much; each song is different, carrying its specific emotion and story; it is evident how wholesome artist he is, how he feels the music and melodies deeply, how easily lyrics come to him and how precious of inspiration he was, and will be, for generations to come; Pastime Paradise was a discovery I wasn't aware of, so just WOW! đ
An absolute masterpiece - the very idea, songs and their lyrics, his ongoing personality and jokes he makes during this performance along with his strong baritone vocal make this album one-of-a-kind pillar of country music đđ
These type of instrumentals really don't do much for me in any way... :/
Not my cup of tea, was literally listening it as a background music, sorry :/
A really positive surprise that ended up in me even adding a couple of songs to my general playlist. I guess I was a bit prejudiced by his public persona; music is of high quality and his production and engineering is top notch, as well as all the collaborations on this album, rather wholesome product #facts đđ
Not my cup of tea, once again, since I am not really huge fan of the New Wave :)
Rather enjoyable album, versatile topics and cheerful tones; but I think I prefer a more gloomy Bowie from the later years đ
A lovely album, with many hits, definitely a defining sound of the generation, utterly enjoyed it :)
An interesting album, pretty short, but effective one; I can see why it made to this list of the most influential ones for sure :)
Not really my cup of tea, and I say this at risk of repeating myself, but it was mostly a background music for me that day, sorry... :/
A really strong album, making a statement in the music industry, meaningful lyrics and larger-than-life melodies; definitely a one worth listening đļ
Pretty great album, amazing for waking up and starting your day, with Blitzkrieg Bop being a masterpiece on its own accord đ¤¸
Ahead of its time, piece of art, especially the live version of it; still relevant in today's society, immensly powerful and a genuine masterpiece... revolutionary đ
Honestly, this type of music feels so empty to me; endless melodies that appear to be coming to a culmination, but never actually culminate; whispering lyrics as well = zero impact... :/
A rather interesting album, gave me a bit of an insight in what Genesis music was all about, outside of their global hits I had known before :)
Reminded me of the Wu-Tang Clan, really interesting album, hip-hop at its best, original and most uplifting đļ
This was an easy album to listen to, each song tells a story in his characteristic voice and melody; definitely a one worth relistening as well, some real gems could be found there đ
Ahead of its time, simple texts and extensive guitar solos; Ozzy's recognisable vocal with a hint of sadness in his voice, as always :) Definitely an album worth to be on this list đĻ
This was a surprisingly funny and cheerful album, definitely a revelation since I was not familiar with the opus of this band đ
Utterly boring, I've got to admit... :/
Almost as equally, maybe a little bit less boring than the one from yesterday... đ
Same as the previous one - raw, down-to-earth and wholesome experience, definitely a masterpiece âŖī¸
Absolute-masterpiece, loved it, more of these, pls âŖī¸
An interesting one, a shot at independence and his way of saying what he had to say with a few authentic all-time hits that would remain for generations to come â¨
Exceptional album, with Sultans of Swing being one of the most authentic sounds which a human ear can enjoy; such a vibe, chilling and relaxing piece of art âŖī¸
Great album, loved it; his raw voice and honest lyrics always leave a mark. The River has easily become one of those songs that would remain in my playlist forever đ¯
Raw, honest, piece of art that would remain in history books, and all of that delivered with a raspy voice that would be dearly missed âŖī¸
Not a bad one, but didn't find any new gems on it for me except the obvious hits that are worldwide known đ
Many hits on it, their exceptional piece of art that endures the passing of time and is very relevant even today â¨
Definitely an album that has marked a generation with some of their greatest hits ever recorded; utterly enjoyed it âŖī¸
An item in a musical museum that is highly precious and unrepeatable, that much I admit, but it really does nothing for me, the improv and inconsistent melodies are specifically something that I find as a big problem here... đ¤ˇđģââī¸
"One" is one of my favor songs and guitar solos, I absolutely adore everything about it, so if it were that song alone on this album, it would still be a masterpiece đ¸
Still need to listen to this one... đ
I actually enjoyed this more than I expected to, didn't know Elton is kinda potty-mouth occasionally, so definitely a chill and valuable album đ
Not a bad background music or a movie soundtrack, but not something I would have put on and listen to on a daily basis đ
Honestly - brainwashing, that is how I experience this repetitions in those songs and really don't recognize any artistic value of this type of music... đ¤ˇđģââī¸
Although no one could deny the quality of this album, Imagine as a song that unifies the world, John Lennon, and The Beatles in particular, this is not something I would put on and play in my leasure time, simply too depressing and slow for my taste :)
His intense voice always captures one attention, it is impossible not to listen to his lyrics tentatively; his sorrow for failed PJ Harvey romance was colorfully depicted in this album which is the very essence that makes it so special đ
I get completely lost when I hear his guitar riffs, he is an absolute artist, lost in his world, and from the White Stripes to his solo work, and everything in between, Jack always delivers 100% and then some extra on top đ
Such a cheerful and positive album, full of hits, that makes this group so authentic and still pretty relevant in today's mainstream music đđļ
Boring and repetitive, although some songs from it are classics and I do respect the genre as a whole, this is really not a type of music I enjoy and would play to myself under any circumstances... đĢŖ
