classic, i grew up on ACDC

feels like a good roadtrip/background album, with the exception of some songs that feel like pink floyd “dark side of the moon” quality. as in, you have to sit in the dark by yourself and listen to the song in its entirety, preferably on the beach. the pedal steel hit every time

there's only so much talking heads i can listen to. even when i'm in the mood for it, i can only handle 3 songs max. all that to say, not a bad album overall!

a surprisingly short album! some of the songs on here are pretty nostalgic for me, i remember listening to this kind of music in my dads old car. the guitar in "top jimmy" makes it my favorite song on this album. i got kind of sick of it halfway through.

i really only like mainstream smiths songs, so i’m surprised how much i liked this album. however, girlfriend in a coma is… definitely a song. stop me if you think you’ve heard this one before was so catchy though. so much wonderful guitar in this album too, especially in the second half. even though it’s hard for me to take morrissey seriously, this is a good album.

not huge into punk/industrial, but this was good. if i was a barista i'd put this album on to impress my cool coworker

I Want To Be Loved #2, I Can't Be Satisfied, are some great songs. I thought I wouldn't like this album, and there are some songs I definitely don't like, but overall, it's a pretty good album!

i grew up on this album. i have endless love for it. except for lucy in the sky with diamonds, because my bus driver in elementary school played the same radio station every day, which happened to also play lucy in the sky with diamonds at the same time every day. i can't ever enjoy it.

freaking love this album, a classic and well loved. reminds me of my lovely boyfriend

sexy, catchy album! ive never heard of this band or this album, but they seem like the perfect scrappy punk 70s sound while not sounding annoying. another good album to play for my cool coworker.

MORE THAN A FEELIIIIINGGGG great album, not just more than a feeling

I'm ashamed to say I've never listened to most of these songs in full, except for "Bombs Over Baghdad." This is a banging album, which was really interesting to listen to. The features were great, the interludes were entertaining, and each song was so different that it was incredible. Fantastic album. I need the vinyl asap.

that was weird. it was like every song was borderline catchy but just a little too weird or “unconventional”? I’m also not a huge fan of this kind of music so, oh well!

good, not my favorite, but good

this album came out on my year of birth! but i don’t like it. sorry. i wish it was more of a rock album, i feel like it would fit his voice more? but there’s a distinct lack of drums and i don’t like that.

Maybe I'm just not an educated jazz listener, but a lot of the songs on this felt super repetitive. I want to be one of those people into the complex rhythms and such, but I think I'm just not. Take Five is such a classic, though, I can't help but like the rest of the album. Apparently, this album was meant to make jazz more complex, but it ended up making it more accessible. Kathy's Waltz was really enjoyable. I also like how every instrument gets a little moment, even if some of them go on for too long.

very nice album- i think it would be better playing out loud, not in my headphones. seems like a classic album to have on vinyl. feeling like a fish in a coral reef listening to this album

It is a tragedy that I’ve only just discovered this album, but thank god I did. Such a beautiful and borderline nostalgic listen. Love!!!

Good album- In My Bed might be the best song. Sometimes the scatting gets old but still a really good album.

I don’t know if I’m just not in the mood for this kind of music or what, but this really was not great. It just felt like noise for the sake of noise, and the same guitar over and over again. meh.

Awesome album, feels like a good background sound to have on. I can't listen to this type of music all the time, but it's still nice.

There are some really good classic songs on here, but the sound is very consistent. Maybe not really in a good way, kinda boring? But overall still a good album- it's the beatles!

A few banger songs in the beginning- reminds me of Phil Collins in another universe. If I could, I'd give this a 3.5

This album was so interesting. It's pretty political too, which I appreciated since a lot of the lyrics still ring true today. It reminds me of a mix of crowded house, The Smiths, and Electric Light Orchestra. It's that 80s mix of extremely catchy and political. I think I need to read up on and listen to more of this band. Some of these songs sound really modern, like something I would hear today. Not sure if thats because of the return to 70s/80s music or what.

Beautiful album. Great album for camping or waking up in a cabin.

I need Bruce Springsteen to calm down. There are so many songs on this album that I probably would've loved if it weren't for him screaming things repeatedly for the chorus. I'm not sure if that's his appeal for a lot of people, but I much prefer his melodic vocals to him screaming. I think "Screaming in the Night" (ironic) and "Racing in the Street" are some of my favorite songs off this album because he's belting, not yelling.

I love how many distinctive sounds there are on this album, and how well they all mesh. Teach Your Children, Our House, and Helpless are some of my absolute favorites.

There are so many classic songs on here, it's hard to say I don't like it. I think they're a little overplayed, but they still hit the same. Going to California has a special place in my heart, though.
