Classic album, Back of My Mind is really good though kinda sad. Help me Rhonda is a certified banger 9/10
The beginning opening rift is very good. So is Know Your Enemy. Very good. 10/10
HOLY SHIT THIS WAS AMAZING!!???? LAYLA IS NO DOUBT A BANGER BUT THE OTHER SONGS ARE ALSO SOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! Why does love got to be so sad was fav
Very dad rock sounding but was surprised how good I was for being released later in his career
Perfection, I love this album
Not a terrible album, but was slightly disappointed since screaming for vengeance is really good. Besides the two most popular songs on the album, none of them really stood out besides United. Not bad though.
An album full of rage. Sounds like if you combined Primus and the Gorillaz. Also has some rap and hip-hop aspects. The messages of the songs like The Update were good. Really liked the bass line of Root Down. Overall, very fire album.
I am not one for this style of music and would probably never listen to this again. I like the sound of the woman’s voice, but the lyrics are way too romantic for me and strange. Split has a really good instrumental intro though. Not bad, but not something I enjoy.
This one is really fucking weird. The synth/electronic instrumentals definitely carry. The Girl song and Frankie did make me scared. However, it’s a really good experimental album and I like how unique it is. Not something I would listen to casually though.
I am AC/DCs biggest opp, I do not find them enjoyable. From listening to this album, many of the songs just sound too similar. Yes, it has classics, but those classics suck. Instrumentals are just basic with nothing interesting and the vocals are annoying. Shake a Leg is the most interesting song on the album, I do enjoy the guitar riff. But that is it. I wouldn’t listen to this album again. I do not like AC/DC. The end.
This is a good example of a perfect album in my opinion. Not too long, but I thoroughly enjoyed every song so picking a favorite is difficult. Let’s Lynch the Landlord might be it. I love the punk sound and just the meaning of the songs. I definitely will re visit this one
She is absolutely killing it with the vocals oml. I like the folk vibes of this album and I really enjoyed the song California. Not something I would listen to a lot, but it is far from bad. Amazing song writing that slays.
A very solid album, I can't say I am an extreme fan of blues music, but I do understand how monumental it was to developing various genres of music. I really like the instrumentals and have heard a few of the songs from the album (as covers though). Help the Poor was the album highlight.
Oh my goodness gracious this album makes me want to frolic in the woods or something IT IS SOOOOO GOOODDDDDD Literally any album that is folk is always good (I might regret saying that oh well). The woman's vocals are SLAYING (i think it is just one?) so are the instruments (I think they used a sitar? it sounds like one) Once I Had a Sweetheart and Hunting Song were def the best songs on the album but they were all good, not one bad song. 100000% will check this one out again
This album was not bad, but not incredible either. I really liked the use of the instruments (like the strings and trumpet), but there were not too many songs that really caught my attention. No Cars Go was probably my favorite from this album. The flute had a really cool part. Besides that, the album was alright.
Another R.E.M. album, YAYYYYY (this is not sarcasm)!!!! Comparing, I do prefer Document, but this one is still amazing. Stand, no questions asked, is a classic and is the best song on the album. However, there are other bangers. Orange Crush and World Leader Pretend are really good. Wrong Child reminds me of Simon and Garfunkel (aka it is also good). A solid album.
I am an absolute fiend for prog. Not their best album, but HOW IS STAR SHIP TROOPER SOOOOOO PEFECT???? THE BASS??????? THE ACOUSTIC GUITAR PART??????? JON'S VOCALS???????? AAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHA the other songs have their good moments, but that incredible banger just perfects it all.
This is def music used for dancing (which makes sense). Not bad, but I would not find myself listening to this again. I did think there were bangers and the instrumentals/samples used were good. I liked the song Happiness and I did recognize the song Back to Life.
I am an Elvis Presley opp. I know that 0.0000005% of rock stars are actually good people, but I just do not like Elvis or his music. I thought I would despise this album, but it was honestly not bad at all. My biggest problem for Elvis is his vocals, I dislike his singing style. Long Black Limousine was the album favorite. I surprisingly enjoyed this album, but I still do not like Elvis.
This might be cheating because I am not sure if I finished the album or not (accidentally had it shuffled for like an hour and a half before realizing something was up and it's 2 hours long), but from what I listened while crying over a Vert Anatomy exam, it was good. Not good in the sense that I want to keep listening to it over and over, but good in the sense that the musicians on the album (especially the trumpet holy shit) were very skilled. We played Sophisticated Lady in jazz band which is a banger. No extreme stand outs, more of just intense jazz if you want to lock in on something, but not a boring album in any means. The length though (like most live albums) is a lot especially when I do not have a lot of time in my day to give attention to this project. When I have more freedom, I want to try and listen to this again, not shuffled. These cats were in fact cooking.
I've tried listening to this album before and was not very interested in it. Like before, I really like prog, but was not into this album. However, listening to this album again, it is not bad. It definitely has good moments. I enjoyed the songs Firth of Fifth, The Battle of Epping Forest, and The Cinema Show. The instrumental ending to Cinema Show is beautiful, I love it so much. I also like the vocal harmonization (?) in Firth of Fifth. Album as a whole gives strong fantasy vibes (this is good). A solid listen after giving it a chance.
Fucking amazing, almost every song is a banger. Crosstown traffic is the fav and little miss strange was very interesting
It is Paul Simon so of course it’s going to be good, but I definitely think he has better albums. Mother and Child Reunion is really good. I love the flute/woodwind in Duncan. No hate, but the last few songs were mid. However, overall a great listen, has the folk vibes which is always good.
This one was very fun though Sloppy kinda scared me
Bro is a great musician, but this one was too experimental with barely anything I enjoyed
I thought it was okay at the beginning, but I was waiting for it to stop at the end. Wanting an album to be over is not good. Science Friction kinda cooked though
Whimsical af what the hell
Hits different driving 2 hours at 5 am
This is an album that you listen to at night or something, badlands in very good but so is promised land
