Popular Reviews

Doolittle by Pixies

There goes your man was a good song. The rest was a little harsh for me

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jan 15 2026

Not for me. Too harsh. Didn’t get much from the lyrics. Seems important in the evolution of music, but I didn’t enjoy listening.

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Jan 16 2026

Yeah pretty good. Didn’t love it, but didn’t hate it.

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Jan 19 2026

Liked it as a hype playlist, some cool guitar stuff. Wouldn’t put it on unless I wanted a very specific or ironic vibe probably

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Jan 20 2026

This was actually really good. The fact it was a live album was awesome. Huey Lewis on the harmonica? I would listen to this again. Might print a photo of them and put it on my wall. Can’t listen to it all the time, but it’s good

Synchronicity by The Police
Jan 21 2026

Yeah it was pretty good, a little weird tbh. I like the more ska / pop stuff they make

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jan 22 2026

Glad I listened to this! Not sure it’s my favorite but interesting to see this version of The Beach Boys. More politically focused. Cool.

Peggy Suicide by Julian Cope
Jan 23 2026

Meh. Tbh I didn’t listen to the whole thing. Had some folk-y things I liked; the lyrics I didn’t love.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Jan 26 2026

I see how this guy was probably important, but to me he was like a worse Radiohead. Maybe he walked so they could run. The last song on this album was ok

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Jan 27 2026

Yeah pretty good. Too bad I listened to Thin Lizzy first—I think they have more action and drive. However, if I was listening to this on a boat or in a sick car or on a dope motorcycle, I wouldn’t complain.

Chore of Enchantment by Giant Sand
Jan 28 2026

Eh. A bit of Leonard cohen thanks for the dance but not for me

Jan 30 2026

Yeah I really liked this. I could see where Colter wall got his inspiration from. Would listen again.

21 by Adele
Feb 03 2026
1984 by Van Halen
Feb 04 2026
This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Feb 05 2026

I see how this is foundational, but I didn't love listening to it.

Feb 06 2026

Nah. A couple good songs, but I’m not an Elton John fan. Why does he keep talking about his sister looking good and 16-year-olds? Don’t doubt this was a big album when it came out, but it’s not for me.

Feb 11 2026

I liked it! Didn't love his voice all the time, and it had some cacophony endings that I dislike most of the time. That said, I had already had one song on this album saved in my liked songs on Spotify, so I think that's saying something.

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Feb 12 2026

I liked it. Fun sound. Some pretty funny lyrics (you can’t sleep walk if you don’t sleep). Kind of prog rock.

The Score by Fugees
Feb 16 2026

I liked it, had some cool beats and some recognizable songs. Some challenging lyrics which I liked too. Probably won’t listen again h unless I’m showing somebody else.

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Feb 17 2026

Wasn’t a huge fan. Pretty songs, kind of Elton John esque. The last song was better than the rest of the album

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Feb 19 2026

Tbh listened to it in the background, but it seemed good

The Undertones by The Undertones
Feb 20 2026

You can’t just say the same thing over and over again dude

Feb 23 2026

Pretty cool. Not sure how he does that with his voice. The people really were screaming! Only 30 min though? Did he leave after? Didn’t recognize any of the songs, but they were good

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Feb 25 2026
Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Feb 26 2026
L.A. Woman by The Doors
Mar 04 2026

I liked some of the songs; I didn’t love the lead singers voice; some of the experimental things were cool. Prob won’t listen again but glad I know this now

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Mar 16 2026

I liked the soft growl in the singer’s voice. I thought the guitar was intriguing, and it had a twang to it that i liked. The lyrics felt good ona a first pass. Would listen again.

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Jul 03 2026

I mean, didn’t love it didn’t hate it. Glad i know it now

Hotel California by Eagles
Jul 07 2026

I mean, is there anything to say? It’s the Eagles. I didn’t know every song on this album (and I’m not sure I’d listen to all of them), but for me, it can’t get any better.

Youth And Young Manhood by Kings of Leon
Jul 08 2026

Wouldn’t mind listening again, but didn’t love it. I like Use Somebody better

Pictures At An Exhibition by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Jul 09 2026

Saved 2 songs. Weird though. Not sure I really enjoyed the listen. Sounded like a cool concert though. The experimental thing in this case I don’t totally love.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jul 13 2026

Ehhhh I don’t think I’ll listen again. Again, wish I was alive when this came out the first time, but I didn’t love it

Jul 14 2026

Really like this actually. Some of the songs made me laugh. I like the harmonica. His voice is funny sounding, but that’s ok. The vibe of the songs put me at ease.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Jul 15 2026

I mean, it’s just fantástico. Felt like I heard Vienna in a whole new way. Glad I listened to the hole album, there were some songs I had never heard before. Made me think of Vincenzo.

Jul 16 2026

Eh—it was ok. I respect that it probably was luminary. The cereal song was funny. Some of the samples seemed ahead of their time. But prob won’t listen again.

Doolittle by Pixies
Jul 20 2026

There goes your man was a good song. The rest was a little harsh for me

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
Jul 22 2026

Pretty heavy, wasn’t really gripped by any of the songs. Maybe if I was mad I would

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Jul 23 2026

Again, I appreciate what these bands are doing. Pushing the envelope, responding to their own creativity. It’s just not good to listen to dude. This is memorable and deserves a 2 instead of. 1 just because it’s called space rock and I got 1-2 chuckles out of the songs.

Dry by PJ Harvey
Jul 24 2026

Ehhhhh harsh again! I just can’t take it. In another life/time maybe I’d like it. But right now, wouldn’t seek out listening to this again. I like a melody. Sue me.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Jul 28 2026

Pretty good. Couldn’t stop thinking of Rent—the main guy’s voice would be perfect for a rock opera.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 29 2026

Feels more like a 4.5, but it deserves a high score regardless. This one is probably timeless.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Jul 30 2026

It was funky, would listen again; liked it in the background. Some weird sounds that were unpleasant

Winter In America by Gil Scott-Heron
Jul 31 2026

I like their sound. It didn’t grip me necessarily, but seems like it would be a fun concert to go to.

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Aug 03 2026

Yeah pretty good —thinking of sandlot

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Aug 04 2026

Yeah I mean it was good. I can’t really appreciate it for what it is though; to me it just sounds like good big band music. I know there’s a specialness to it, but I don’t feel it.

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Aug 06 2026

I like 1.5 of the songs—pale blue eye one (Edgar Allen Poe referenced and I half-like the “if you close the door”… song bc they sing it in that Florence Pugh movie. The rest of the songs were ok

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Aug 07 2026

Not for me.

So by Peter Gabriel
Aug 10 2026
Aug 11 2026

Imma be honest I did not listen to this. I’ve listened before and thought it was pretty good. Just didn’t have it in me
