1001 Albums Summary

Huge David Bowie fan and there's a lot here to like, including of course Fame. Some fantastic vocals though do feel the album loses its way, especially in the bad cover of Across the Universe.

Started the 1001 albums two days ago and my first two albums were David Bowie, it isn't always this good. What an album this is, one of my absolute favourites, a masterpiece.

I really like Radiohead but there's large parts of this album that wash on by, 2+2=5 and There There are both tremendous tracks though.

I'm not a big Muse fan but Knights of Cydonia is such an incredible song. Snippets of other good stuff here but a lot that washes over.

Last 2 tracks are the best final 2 songs on any album. The rest is brilliant as well.
