Pretty good, displays a lot of the original kind of rockabilly country sound. Very cool to learn about the history behind this project. 4/5

Sounds like great classic rock perhaps a little ahead of its time, reminds me of early 80s/late 70s classic rock, piano work and overall composition is great. I was unaware of how good at guitar this band can be. Some songs sound kind of samey, Candle in the wind was repetitive and boring, but some songs are classics, bennie and the jets, goodbye yellow brick road are both great. Jamican jerk, sucked holy cow there are some greats and there are some stinkers. Seen that movie too is pretty good. This is starting to get quite repetitive towards the end. 2/5 so repetitive and boring after about 4 songs

pretty good, reminds me of the verve but if they were actually interesting, still just depressing early 2000s british whining at heart, but musically much more interesting across the board, 2.5/5 seems appropriate. Its good but not anything that makes me think about it once i am done. reading this bio, i realize he is not even british but his sound is the same regardless of place of origin.

Badlands 6.5/10 good instruments but i cant understand a word hes saying Adam Raised a Cain 8/10 intro is fire, into a slower tempo bluesish song but still full of energy. Something in the Night 4/10 boring and not for me Candy's Room 5.5/10 its ok Racing in the Street 7/ 10 good slower song, his voice actually works on this one The Promised Land 6/10 good but doesn't blow me away with anything noteworthy other than the saxophone Factory 5/10 mediocre. Streets of Fire 5.5/10 good guitar work but similar to others. Prove It All Night 6/10 good but still samey until the sick guitar solo Darkness on the Edge of Town 6.5/10 slow but makes for a good closer.

Great album, if what you are looking for is spy movie background music or new age spa relaxation music. why this is a top 1001 album of all time is beyond me.

Goated very good minimum was 6 high was approaching 9, 4/5

"Maggot Brain" 7.75 crazy guitar solo to open things up "Can You Get to That" 7 fun blues? tune "Hit It and Quit It" 7 fun funky song with tight percussion. "You and Your Folks, Me and My Folks" 6 "Super Stupid" 7.3 fun higher paced "Back in Our Minds" 6 fun and whimsical spoon? noises in the intro set up an interesting experience. "Wars of Armageddon 5.5 they must have been on a lot of drugs when they made this one. the poop noises caught me so off guard. 3.32/5

2.5/5 has a couple good spots but then loses me towards the end. Coles Corner 7.5 good slow jazzy tune. Just Like the Rain 6.5 more up tempo folky Hotel Room 6.5 slow 50's kinda style song Darlin' Wait for Me 6 good but similar to the previous. The Ocean 6 its starting to sound a little similar. Born Under a Bad Sign 5 not noteworthy I Sleep Alone 6 thankfully a little more uptempo and energetic on this. Tonight 4.5 about ready to go to bed from this one. (Wading Through) The Waters of My Time 7 country almost twangy. Nice slide guitar bit at the end. Who's Going to Shoe Your Pretty Feet snoozefest 4.5 Last Orders 5 kinda good kinda dookie

"Fly by Night" 6.5 little more uptempo "The Wing and the Wheel 5 average

3.5/5 good funky disco sound I enjoyed this one quite a bit. It got a little repetitive at spots but was overall enjoyable.

so far sounds like coworker music. made it through about 4 songs and got bored out of my freaking mind. Music isnt bad its just all the same recycled cardboard. If i wanted to listen to someone whine at a barley audible whisper with no passion i would listen to my coworkers over this.

4.4/5 "Stardust" 7 good slower ballad style song. "Georgia on My Mind" 6 good but almost too slow for me "Blue Skies" 6.5 glad for a little more tempo on this one, a little more jazzy. "All of Me" 8 this one is great, I like the organ in the background. "Unchained Melody" 8.5 "September Song" 6.5 "On the Sunny Side of the Street" 7 kinda strange hearing willie jazz "Moonlight in Vermont" 8 "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" 7 snazzy "Someone to Watch Over Me 6.5 good but feels almost too slow to be a good closer for this album.

sounds like the most classic stereotypical country I could think of but i dont mean that in bad way, originally probably a 3.5/5 but due to dolly parton dying yesterday and the fact that she seemed like a genuinely good person I will round up 4/5.

"First We Take Manhattan" 6 fun super poppy 80s tune "Ain't No Cure for Love" 5 ok but his voice dosnt really fit in some spots for this slower tune. "Everybody Knows" 6 I like the subtle kinda spanish style guitar backing on this "I'm Your Man" 5 kinda starting to get bored with this one. "Take This Waltz" 4 sounds like a runescape plugin was used to make this song "Jazz Police" 5 I fear with this one we have officially lost the plot. at least its kinda fun "I Can't Forget" 4.5 tropical marimba? this was not what i expected following "jazz police" lol, i am ready for this ablum to be done. "Tower of Song" 4 good song to listen to if i wanted to pregame napping.

3.5/5 some of the classic early 2010s alt rock sounds, and then there are the songs that spawn all of the ford offroad truck commercial memes. Perfectly balanced as all things should be lol. Maybe i am just too nostalgic but im going to give this one a 4 even though im not sure it deserves it.

3.7 Pretty good early punk sound, but still upbeat and energetic enough to be engaging. sounds ahead of its time. Some of the stuff in the second half lost me and started getting a little monotonous.

Starting off with the most late 80s/early 90s sounds i have ever heard lol. The sound quality is a little eh but the actual motifs are good. gets a little more poppy almost the cure like it kinda keeps getting better as the album goes but we will see if it can continue that trend. 3.75

Intro is a little strange but picks up with some interesting musical progressions. It has some kinda strange retro futurism going on with the synth sounds that im digging. opening an album with a 20+ minute long song is for sure a bold choice. Very unique album and I can see how it inspired future electronic styles but just not for me.

Not sure how to feel on this album, some songs are good and memorable, and others seem to be random assortments of nonsense. Perhaps I havent watched enough rick and morty to awaken to an IQ of greater than 100, but its about 30% good to 70% random mouth noises you hear from scary people on the bus late at night. 2/5
