1001 Albums Summary

Some absolute corkers of songs here. Brilliant opener to the album. Excellent closer. Bass is prominent, melodic and super enjoyable throughout the album. I'm not really into the large number of instrumental tunes. But glad I listened to the album and will come back to listen to the highlights again.

Not bad. Couple of great songs but also felt there was a fair amount of filler.

I remember this from my youth. It has aged better than many albums from the 90s. Enjoyed it.

Good guitars. Backing vocals but dated. Not for me.

I tried. I really tried. My daughter loves it. My wife tells me the lyrics are incredible. But I cannot get over the blandness and samey-ness of the music. It's like eating dry couscous with no sauce. I recognise it must be great because so many people love it but it's just not for me.

Interesting. Not really a fan of the yodelling technique but I do think this album is different and creative and i like the attitude

Love it. Not new to me but the idea of putting together 78 year old legends with 13yo savants and everything in between to make an album of classic songs to introduce to the rest of the world was glorious

I find the drums stressful. Weird combination of chill out Melodies and harmonies with fast and stressful drums

Hated it. The electronic instruments sound really dated and I hated her voice
