1001 Albums Summary

A collection of 10 AC/DC songs that sound like every other AC/DC song. A solid riff that would make your nod your had at a football game followed by squealed vocals that are cool for 1 song but after 3 consecutive tracks are just annoying. There’s no distinction track to track it’s just 10 songs that could have been the same song and I’d know no different. 4/10 I’m bored. Top tracks - Highway to Hell, Night Prowler(at least it was doing something different. Wait this song is so long nvm)

I understand some people’s problem with Bob Dylan and I wouldn’t call myself a fan. However, I found this album a joy to listen to. I’ll likely not seek it out again and but I’m glad I did. His lyricism and guitar work are enough for me to have a good time on this record.

This is fine…but I’m not really moved. Not mad at it and a few interesting tracks but I’m not sure I’ll be back.

This is kinda a chore. Im not a big Neil Young and this two note vocal range guy. And these songs just kinda meander and flop around without much happening. Some of the music is nice but man is his voice just not enjoyable. Which is ironic coming from someone who enjoys Dylan. Glad to be past this.

A bit more energy than my normal morning commute. Enjoyed it but I don’t always love live albums. Still this is something I happily listened to. Especially after being banged over the head by Neil Young…James Brown can sing. Neil cannot.

I really enjoyed this. Fake Plastic Trees is just so good man.

Very new to me but this was awesome. First track grabbed me and I was with it the whole way. Dang. Not what I normally seek out but that was cool.

Very confused. Musically some tracks are awesome but they’re sandwiched between tracks that are almost unlistenable. The mix is kinda odd. The vocal is in a weird spot. It’s not anything I’ve heard before. Not really for me. But then it’s randomly cool as hell. Every track is 1:30 - 2:30 too long. The album is 30 minutes too long idk.

You can think “this is fine and I’m not the target audience for this” that’s where I am Here.

French concept pedo album. Coulda died without this one.

I liked this. Feels like 1975 was highlight influenced by them. More of these please less spoken word French music.

Glossy, polished, over produced, still has some all timers on it. An album I fully understand the detractors and the rabid fans. To me it’s fine.
