Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Sep 29 2026

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Vocals are amazing. The lyricism is deep and rich

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Sep 30 2026

How do people hate the doors? Name any other band that sounds remotely close to them. They were so ahead of their time. I love the doors, and this is a top 3 album of theirs behind their debut (top 10 debut of all time btw) and probably LA Woman.

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Oct 02 2026

I did not enjoy this. It sounds like wannabe punk rockers imo

Murmur by R.E.M.
Oct 03 2026

R.E.M. is just so easy to listen to. Amazing project

Oct 03 2026

This is my first Eminem project and I enjoyed it wayyy more than I thought. The beats are so fun and his storytelling is insane. The constant fucking in the ass stuff brings the rating down

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
Oct 04 2026

This was terrible. This was only my first Leonard Cohen album on the list... I can't believe I have to listen to 4 more albums of this crap

Konnichiwa by Skepta
Oct 05 2026

I've only heard Skepta as a producer, so it was super fun to hear him rap. I'm not the biggest fan of the grime scene, but this was pretty dang good.

The Modern Lovers by The Modern Lovers
Oct 07 2026

It's alright. Tbh it's really easy to stop paying attention, all the songs kinda blend into one another. I still think there's some decent replay value. I do enjoy Johnathan Richman's singing. P.S. Dance With Me SUCKS. I don't know what exactly is going on in the song, but it made my ears bleed. That might be the worst track I've ever heard.

Who's Next by The Who
Oct 09 2026

Fun listen. I enjoyed the guitar work and organ/keyboards.

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Oct 10 2026

It's good. I try to give country a fair chance, but it's something I find very hard to enjoy. There were a few songs I did genuinely enjoy

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Oct 12 2026

Esto está brutal; Me encanta esta música. Idk spanish so I hope that's right. Latin music has been growing on me heavy.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Oct 14 2026

I can understand why this is highly regarded, and I really do enjoy some of the instrumentation, but it's just too slow for me. Good study music though

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Oct 15 2026

It's alright. I see why it was inspiration for a lot of later guitarists.

That's The Way Of The World by Earth, Wind & Fire
Oct 16 2026

Such a fun listen. I'm glad this challenge is introducing me to more funk

Oct 17 2026

Overrated. I never understood the appeal of U2.

Clandestino by Manu Chao
Oct 18 2026

Honestly way better than I thought it was going to be. I have no idea what he's saying, but I could feel it

Crazysexycool by TLC
Oct 19 2026

I enjoyed it. Reminds me of the stuff my dad used to play when I was a kid. I liked the Outkast feature on the last song

Electric by The Cult
Oct 21 2026

Great hard rock album. It seems a lil out of place for this list, but who cares, it was a great introduction to The Cult

California by American Music Club
Oct 22 2026

I enjoyed the first 2 songs and bad liquor, but after that it seems like they tried to go a whole different direction. It does not work imo

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Oct 23 2026

It's an interesting listen. I didn't hate it or love it. I don't really like the singer's voice though.
