This Year's Model
Elvis Costello & The AttractionsCostello is indie rock before it was called that way. Can't believe how recent this album feels. It could come out straight from Weezer

This is my favourite Elvis album
Awesome record. Thanks to this I met Jane Weaver
Great album! Like if Joy Division made more poppy songs.
I can't express enough how this album is awesome, a genre-changing moment when it was released. Although today i'm not a big fan of GnR and even listening to this album bores me to hell, I can't ignore the genius behind it. I don't know if any other band can rival a first album like this.
Two recognizable songs and some of the rest have very good tunes, but the lyrics are hard to swallow if you are not connected to the BDSM scene and sound like they came off the mouth of a creep.
Great punk album
Too fuckin good. Blues and rock in a fiery combination of awesome musicians.
Awesome album. It's an aquired taste. I have listened to it multiple times, just to hear the song 'Autobahn' once again, but I kept listening to the whole album.
It's a rock album, nothing that blew my mind, but it's ok
I really liked this. I think I'll checkout more about Todd Rundgren
Really cool music, but it wasn't my style
Simply Fantastic!
One of the best albums of our time. I always come back to it.
You know, I was a little dissapointed.
Awesome album
This didn't appeal to me, as a genre. Some lyrics are quite nice tho
I don't like Simple Minds. It's a band that once was great and then... it's just not even ok. I see this album as the begining of their decadence.
It grew on my. I had to listen to it many times, and every time it was better than before
I know this is a classic, but the music genre does not appeal to me at all. Nice lyrics tho, and I definitively felt the personal and internal conflict of its authors being poured into the songs.
I don't like this.
I liked it. It's not something I'll listen everyday or when transmutting, but it's cool and full of classics for the modern music landscape.
I played it many times. I didn't like it. Not one song I could remember. It's not a bad record tho
Cool
Awesome record. Thanks to this I met Jane Weaver
Cool, but not anything I haven't hear before
What the beatles could have become. Fantastic album
Quintessential heavy metal album. A must.
Neat album. I understand why you have to hear it before you die.
Zappa at its most digestible
I really didn't like this much. I guess it wass cool to the teenage angst in the 90s
Messy, chaotic, weirdly mastered, and I loved it. I like this kind of fail music.
Great album, not the best of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but a great album
Nice record. I don't vibe that hard with it, but you can't deny it has some awesome songs
Awesome album. Heard it multiple timen and can't get enough.
I'm not fan of the genre, but I certainly listened to this a lot while working
This is my favourite Elvis album
Heard it multiple times. I can't say any particular song struck with me
Awesome album. Introduced me to Common

I can't say I liked the whole album. But isn't that final song (you know which) a juicy strawberry at the top of a cake?
Nice Hallellujah version
I have loved this album for a very long time and never get tired of it. It's a must if you are into punk
Didn't liked this in my first listening, neither in the 12th. If you are into this kind of music, I recommend Soda Stereo. They do it better
Bowie voice in the 70s is present here. Kinda like it, but old, even in the time it was released.
Love this
Really cool sound. I think Joy Division still has a sound that no other band could come close. Not accesible at all, but that somehow makes it special.
This is awesome. Didn't know about the existence of this band and ended up hearing this album and others multiple times.
I really liked this album. Maybe it is known by the one hit wonder 'Come on Eileen' but the whole album is awesome and tematically in sync with that song
Glad I got to hear this band that I didn't knew existed. They reminded me of blur, so it was cool.
This album came from a guy who killed himself 2 years after recording it. You are listening to a guy who looked around and despised capitalism and comercialisation, so maybe this album wasn't intended to be heard. And if you did, that's awesome, and an incredible line of events that led you to this moment, listening to a record some guy made 60 years ago in two nights just for himself.
Awesome record. Of course I heard Shout and Everybody wants to rule the world before, but never the whole album, and it's awesome and consistent.
A nice blend of sounds, and though it's more than 15 years since its release, it feels relevant this days. I've heard some of the songs on those youtube videos to study and chill.
Tom Waits has a shitty voice. The whole album is monotonous from beginning to end and not any memorable song. Not my deal, sorry.
mmmm nop. Nothing particularly interesting here.
Fantastic album
Didn't like anything here. Could have died without listening.
Simply fantastic
Absolute Masterpiece
This is kinda generic indie rock. And we can't say they were pioneers because this album came in 2018. The sound felt old, something we have heard before.
Great album! Like if Joy Division made more poppy songs.

Simply awesome. This is a must listen.
Pretty good hip hop and rappin over all
This is my first time listening to Tom Waits and can't say I liked it. Maybe if I listen to other things from him I could accustom my ear.
Fantastic Rap & Hip Hop album
Did liked this album, didn't like Aerosmith. Hard to explain
Loved it
What a solid debut album
Really liked this album. Heard it multiple times
I love this album man. It's the 80's in a bottle.
Didn't like at first, started to like it at the third heard
I'm gonna be honest: I like Cohen but i'm kinda bored of american folk songs
This is not my jam but it got me in the mood to listen to Aphex Twin, so it's something
There's some things I really like here
I don't know. I'm getting kinda tired of this american folk music on this 1001 list.
Grateful for being in a lifetime where this album exists
