1001 Albums Summary

Listenable. Banger title track. Not going to dial it up every day.

This has everything. Steel drums. Great guitar riffs. Top hot of the Talking Heads. Great 1st album.

This album had a time and place. It’s place is no longer on my playlists or shelf. Patriotism is hard

I never knew how much I loved this album. So many of these songs were lurking in my subconscious.

Big fan of ccr . This album has a lot of what made them really popular. After the chaos of the album, that last song really tied us all together.

When you think of the BGs you think of disco pop. I don’t usually think of a Beatles imitation group. Had some good melody. Wasn’t bad. Just was basic Beatles style pop

Love the blues. Love the album.

Not sure about this. It feels a little like a high school band. The components are there. It just doesn’t feel like a top 1001 album to me.

Sonic youth has been a sometimes guilty pleasure of mine. I’ve mostly listened to things past 1995 Washing Machine era. This was a fun pull back a few years. I really do love the groundwork SY did to bring some more alternative vibes onto the radio and into the mainstream.

Really liked this album. Have any listens to Common in a long ass time. That was a mistake.

This is why I love this project. I never would have found this. And I may never listen to again. But dang did I like it on this car trip.

Great classic rock vibes. Good bangers. Fun time.

I love this album. Concrete walls is one of my top songs of all time. 7/5

Not my #1 fave. It would do in a pinch. But I don’t see myself pulling this one up for fun.

So I have listened to this a bunch. My German teacher loved this album. And would play it during tests. It brings back good memories.

This one was one the first albums I listened to with my friends in HS. We spent 2 summers hitting record stores. This album reminds me of that couple of summers.

I will admit to not listening as close as I should. But this was good working/ reading music. I’ll flag this to listen to again.

I’m really loving the BM on this. There is just so many songs that deserve to be popular.
