Yeah this was quite good! James is obviously a big fan and I bet if I had seen the play I reckon it would mean more. Loved hearing Justin Vernon. I think I appreciated it, but didn't totally love it. Some songs more than others. And I can't help but not be into listening to albums with a narrative where you're not seeing it. Tricky one to rate! 3.5?

What an incredibly bland album. It is hard to believe someone listened to the 1089 and then thought this is the best album to offer next! Beige. Weak. Twee. Overly produced. Nothing special. Like Purity Ring, but shite.

I was disproportionately happy to listen to an album I actually knew and liked. And also have more faith in this new list now. This is a fantastic Big Thief album. Not my favourite but I still love it. So many hits. BT are just such prolific and strong song writers. Can't believe how much they chug out. Changing style but still so iconically BT. I got into them when I first moved to Brighton in 2017 and Capacity was my soundtrack to that time of life. Incredibly reminiscent. This band means a lot to me! Seeing them last year was one of gig best highlights ever.

Yeah this was fairly pleasant! Was only ever an intermittent Lumineers fan, liked the odd song. But it was nice enough to hear! Reminiscent of a time which is always nice

Did I like this? No I did not. And what a shame if was 1hr 30mins. Look I can appreciate that was epic, that was a lot of music. Some of it intricate and complicated, talented musicians but so much of it was just too much. Like the prog rock stuff just feels like an intense person chewing your ear off at a party who you can't shake off. This was like that. Like I said, I can appreciate the talent within it. But I did not enjoy this

A nice surprise on this! Very much reminds me of 2017 and just having moved back from Australia. It's a great album. Very artistic. Interesting. Varied. Fun. Love it

Yeah this was a really solid listen. New to me but I could totally listen again. It was definitely the kind of rap I can get on board with it. Just cool

I have no idea what to make of this. I can't tell if I liked it or not. Like maybe a not such good Beastie Boys. I didn't hate it but wasn't like massively into it either. Middle of the road

This was hard work and I wasn't enamoured with it. Kind of just waiting for it to be over. Imagine it would be fun live in a lively bar but I found it draining tbh.
