End of an era. Thank god

When aliens arrived on planet earth in 1965, they listened to the top forty and thought, yeah we could have a crack at that. And that ladies and gentlemen is how Paul Revere and the Raiders were formed. A band so devoid of originality but what do you expect from an algorithm from outer space.

You definitely have to be in the mood for this. maybe even a little drunk Today I'm neither in the mood nor particularly drunk

Like me, this hasn't aged well

Anyone in the possession of at least one partially functioning ear knows that the two greatest Fall albums are the the first one you heard and the last one you listened to. This is a truly great album and anyone who says otherwise is a cloth-eared fool.

Everything about this is perfect. The cover. The opening guitar. My slightly unreliable memory of seeing them live in Wolverhampton around this time

This used to be great. Now, not so much.
