Hadestown
Anaïs MitchellPretty interesting, enjoyed it more than I thought.
Pretty interesting, enjoyed it more than I thought.
Great album, but not as good as Lateralus and Aenima. As the guy who nominated Lateralus, I can say that we probably don’t need four Tool albums on the list, but the fact that we don’t know which other albums have been nominated before selecting our own makes it difficult to get that balance. Anyway, that’s my excuse for the four Tool albums. What’s the 1001 albums committee’s excuse for the 20 fucking Nick Cave albums on that list? Tool over Nick Cave any day of the week.
Interesting I guess, I think I liked it.
Pretty good, better than I thought it'd be tbh.
Better than I thought it was gonna be
Not really for me, but it was something different at least.
Great album that I’d never heard, should certainly have been on the main 1001 list. Will have to listen to it more.

Nice and chilled
It was okay, not quite my thing tbh.
Awesome album, contains one of my favorite songs of all time, Ænema. This is a great shout that should have definitely made it onto the 1001 albums list, especially considering how many lesser albums there were.
Nice and chilled, will I listen to it again, probably not.

Great album, right up my street.
Not a huge fan, couple of stars for originality though
Pretty good, but prefer Under The Table and Dreaming
