Not for me I think, although I might enjoy it more after a few listen throughs. Not gonna happen though.
Fantastic album, not a weak song on the whole thing. Needle and the damage done a personal favourite of mine, but there are so many stand out tracks.
Great album, takes me back. Firestarter and Breathe both stupendous.
I can see why some people would like this album, interesting lyrics, but not for me.
Never heard this album before, it was pretty good. Some awesome guitar riffs. Really enjoyed P.E. squad/ Doo Doo Chasers.
Awesome album, some real classic stand-out tracks on there. Wasn't sure about All I Ask though, thought it sounded like it belonged on a different album.
I didn't really want to like this album as I was kinda anti-Britpop in my teens, but it was actually pretty good. I doubt I'll ever listen to it again but it was nice to realise that my teenage prejudices were unfounded.
Yeah it's Elvis, I get it. It was nice background music but I didn't love it.
It was pretty good, some nice tunes. I enjoyed it more than yesterday's album by Elvis.
Never heard these guys before, but I enjoyed the album. They've got a good punk/rock sound that I'll probably listen to again in the future.
Awesome album, listened to it lots in my early 20s, and really loved the dark gritty feel of it. 4 stars, but leaning towards 4.5.
Great album, and although I liked some tracks , I couldn't help comparing it unfavourably to Marvin's masterpiece What's Going On.
Great album, I don't think I'd ever actually listened to it the whole way through before. Again, I liked it more than I thought I would.
Great album, some awesome sampling and Fight The Power to end with, what's not to like?
Not for me I think, although I might enjoy it more after a few listen throughs. Not gonna happen though.
I’m not the biggest R&B/blues fans but it was nice to hear Ray sing, he’s got a great voice. Preferred the small group pieces on this one to the big band ones.
Sounded like late 80s/early 90s generic synth. Although it was probably trailblazing in it’s day, this album didn’t really stand out for me. Meh.
Interesting in places, some tracks reminded me of Portishead, but not quite as good as them.
I generally like krautrock so was excited to listen to this one, and although I enjoyed parts of the album, some of the songs with more discordant notes were a bit of a turnoff. The first three tracks were all pretty good though.
Never heard of these guys before, sounded interesting enough, although it was difficult to judge on one listening. I'll maybe check out their other albums on Spotify though.
Interesting album, a mix of jazz, jump blues and rock and roll, a little bit of scat with some shades of Louis Armstrong in there too. As much as I love jazz, I've never really been a fan of jazz vocalists, so this wasn't mind-blowing for me, but it was fun and would have had folk in the 50s up dancing.
Classic Iggy Pop album, always find it strange hearing anyone other than Bowie sing China Girl.
Pretty good, very 80s feel. I’ll probably listen to these guys again.
Interesting idea by Brian Wilson, to go back and make an album that he tried to record 40 years previously. For me though it sounded like it belonged in the 60s, and the more recent versions of Heroes and Villains and Good Vibrations weren't really as good as the original ones. A decent listen, but I'll stick to Pet Sounds.
Awesome album, Sweet Emotion is a stone cold classic. I'll definitely revisit this album again.
This one wasn’t quite for me, I might have liked a couple of the songs when I was a teenager in the early 90s but not so much now.
A pretty interesting listen, not quite sure what to make of it yet, but a few tracks made me sit up and take notice. It piqued my interest enough to give it a few more spins.
Probably the best jazz album of all time, accessible to jazz newbies and dearly loved by jazz connoisseurs. Features one of the great jazz lineups at the top of their game, Miles leads them on an improvisational masterclass. Genius, 5 stars all the way.
Okay, didn’t blow me away, but was pleasant enough. I might get into it more with a few more listens.
Pretty good from what I heard of it, I’ll have to listen to it a few more times though. I’ve got a feeling it’ll grow on me.
Awesome album, never really listened to The Stooges before, but looking forward to exploring their music more. I Wanna Be Your Dog the standout track for me.
Not an Elvis Costello fan, can’t see what the fuss is. Also not looking forward to wading my way through 4-5 of his other albums on this list.
I enjoyed it, I'll probably listen to it again. That's all I have to say.
I was tempted to not even listen to this, but it actually wasn't terrible. Some Rage Against The Machine Vibes on a couple of the songs. Glad I listened to it, but that's enough Kid Rock for me. Not sure why it's deemed worthy on being on this list.
Awesome album, I’ve been aware of it but never actually listened to it before, super-glad I did. I enjoyed the first track, 21st Century Schizoid Man, but loved the other four, especially Epitaph and The Court Of The Crimson King. Due to it not being on Spotify I’ll have to pick it up on vinyl I think.
Pretty good, some nice sounding songs on this, especially liked Novocaine For The Soul and Susan’s House.
Great album, a couple of stone cold classic songs in Sunshine Superman and Season of the Witch, but the album as a whole was quality.
Pretty fun album with some catchy melodies. Not heard much of these guys but I'll probably seek out more of their albums.
Pretty good album, never heard it before but enjoyed a lot of the songs, Teenage Kicks being the standout track.
From what I heard they were pretty good, I'll certainly listen to this again
Great album, it doesn't have a Mr Tambourine Man or Turn! Turn! Turn! but still a lot of awesome tracks on here.
Enjoyed this one. Again, never heard it before but it was a nice slice of 70s rock that I'll visit again.
Awesome album, a favorite of mine in my teenage years! Some real grunge classics on here.
Awesome album, never heard the whole thing before but was familiar with a few of the more famous songs. I didn't think I was going to like it but I was very pleasantly surprised.
It was okay, a bit slow and depressing for me.
Good album with a few catchy tunes, I listened to it a lot back in the day.
One of Led Zep’s great albums, with some outstanding classic tunes.
Fantastic album, not a weak track on it. Jeremy and Alive always seem to take the plaudits, but I’ve always preferred some of the more subdued tunes like Black, Oceans and Release. A grunge classic!
Awesome album, watching this on tv was what first inspired me to start listening to grunge
Pretty good album, some real classics on here.
Nice slice of 1980s metal, have to listen to more of these guys I think.
Pretty good, can't see myself listening to it much in the future though.
Pretty good album, I've always had a bit of a problem with the singer's voice, but some solid songs on here.
Awesome album, up there with the best in terms of classic 60s albums. Time Of The Season the obvious standout track, but a lot of amazing stuff on here.
Pretty good Afro-Cuban jazz album, I’m not the biggest fan of big band jazz but these guys were swinging.
Not quiet my cup of tea, too poppy, did have a few classics on it though.
Hmm okay, not sure why PJ Harvey is on the list so much. Surely there are better albums out there.
Amazing album, I actually prefer this to Dark Side of the Moon.
It was okay, never heard it before. Nice nostalgic feel.
Seemed pretty good, would like to listen to it a few more times to get a better feel for it.
I’m not the biggest fan of big band, but this is once of the greatest big band albums out there.
Never heard this before, it was good, might very well turn out to be great after a few more listens.
Great album, never heard it before, looking forward to listening to it more.
It was good, the last track was a bit out there and long, but the first 6 tracks were great.
