Rocks by Aerosmith
Jul 18 2022
Bad Company by Bad Company
Jul 19 2022

I came into this with pretty much no knowledge of this band. Turns out Bad Company is pretty unforgettable rock. For an album described as “hard rock” there was very little hard rock to be found. What was here instead was pretty run of the mill 70s rock and a surprisingly consistent Beatles derivations. This isn’t a bad album - just a very boring one.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Jul 20 2022

This album feels like it should be accompanying the FMV intro to a late-90s sports game or a Skechers commercial from 2006. Im sure it was very influential for its time, but it’s just not my jam.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jul 21 2022
Jul 22 2022

Pretty straight forward “positive” rap from the 90s. It’s a lot of fun, though not something I’d really go out of my way to listen to again.

Drunk by Thundercat
Jul 23 2022

A really fantastic surprise. I had no idea what to expect from this album. I loved how varied it was. From jazzy, Bill Wurtz-esque tracks to more traditional hip hop this album has it all and does it all impeccably.

Pornography by The Cure
Jul 24 2022

It was fine. I thought I’d like it more than I actually did. Somewhat repetitive. Maybe I should try giving it another listen.

Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt

A mediocre album bookended by two stunning songs.
