Crazy good. Would love to have been around when this came out. I’m sure it blew people away.
I found it completely boring and musically just not that interesting
Not my type of music and I sort of thought it was all over the place. That 2000 era beat was driving me crazy.
I get what it was, I just didn’t care much for it. It had a few areas that weren’t terrible.
You could tell this was the start of their transition. There were some good songs and some ok songs.
Pretty good. It's obviously dated, but almost in a good way.
Better than I thought it would be. I actually found myself bobbing my head along a couple of times.
It was ok. I understand the genre, and the time this was released, it just doesn't seem to hold up as well as some of the others.
There is not an album that represents my youth more than this one. This came out when I was in middle school, and was on repeat for a very long time. This was the first album where I really started getting into music, and not just listening to what my parents had on the radio. It was, and still is, a perfect listening experience for me.
Pretty good. There was some good songs and a few that were just ok.
Boring and whiny.
This was terrible and sounded like a bunch of IT professionals who played in a band on the weekend at the local Applebees
Really great album.
I am embarrassed to say that I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It had some pretty good melodies and wasn't terrible to listen to.
This was terrible
Not my type of music. It wasn't really bad, it just didn't really jump out at me. It started to sound repetitious after a few songs.
It was kind of boring. You can start to see where he's headed, but there was a lot of monotony to it.
I didn't like this music when it originally came out and I definitely don't like it now. Just terrible.
I loved this album when it came out. Listening to it years later, it kind drags on. There are a few songs that really sound great and others that are just sort of ok.
Not my style of music and I didn't enjoy it at all. I'm sure it's great for what it is, but I really struggled to get through it.
This was just weird...and not in a good way. It sounds sort of like a movie, and sort of like one of those books I got as a kid that came with a play along record. Either way, it was not good.
The hits were still ok, but the rest of the album really drags on. The biggest issue is how it was mixed. It's just all middle with no low or high end. Also, can we all agree that RHCP lyrics are just bad. Literal nonsense.
Like one long song that just wouldn't end. It literally hurt my brain listening to this. I'm guessing the only real way to handle this is on drugs at a rave?
There are so many albums in this genre that would have been much better picks. This is just insulting to those bands. Why would anyone think this is an album you just had to listen to before you died?!?!
It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.
The hits were good. The rest were filler and sounded like one song. It wasn't revolutionary. It sounded like a couple of bands from the 70's smashed together.
I remember this differently. I shamefully admit that I thought some of these songs were bangers back then. Boy was I wrong. This was terrible. His voice is almost unlistenable.
It was ok. There were a few good songs, but then some of it was pretty basic. It definitely shows its age too.
Ripped off music with an over-singer. I cannot stand them. Just pretentious crap. His voice irritates me so much. Go and listen to the actual blues artists they are copying instead of this watered-down British junk with no soul.
This seemed like a couple of hits and a bunch of experimentation. Their earlier soulful stuff was so good.
It was ok. I couldn't say it was something you needed to listen to before you die.
I understand that the guy was great, but I could not get into this music. There were parts that sounded like a high school band warming up before a spring concert. It just sounded like noise to me.
There were a few good songs. The rest of the album sounded like some teenagers who just learned to play instruments and started a band.
I know Radiohead are considered one of the best bands, but I just don't get this album. It sounds so experimental, without having any feeling. Technologically I'm sure it's great, but it has no soul.
This was terrible. It sounded like a house band for an 80's hotel bar. Not one good song.
This album was ok. Most of the songs sound like other bands and there is nothing remarkable about anything.
