Very nice. Reminded me of early Pink Floyd
I enjoyed more than I thought I would. Especially Shiver and Yellow.
Great album from the disco era. Produced by Nile Rodgers.
Black Sabbath was still rocking at this point, but the cocaine was kicking in.
Not a big fan of Madonna, although I do like a handful of songs. None on this album unfortunately. Big fan of Prince, so I liked his duet with her. I'm rating low because it's not my type of music.
I was really surprised by this album. Great guitar and bass. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Wow, how did this make anyone's top list? This wouldn't even make my top 50 albums of 80's rap. Not even the collaborating with De La Soul could lift this up past meh. I've seen her perform and she was fantastic, but this album has nothing special on it. I see why she had to go into movies.
The only thing keeping this from being a perfect record is the stupid alien bit at the beginning. I mean it was probably cool the first time you heard it, but that's it. Then it starts with Up From The Skies, which I always thought is a very underrated song in the Experience catalogue. It just keeps getting better from there. I've always loved this album and it shows Jimi's versatility as a guitarist. The Experience is in top form as well
I wants to get funked up
Such a 70's album.
Great Pumpkins Album. Skip the slow songs
Not bad, but not great
Not sure how this album made anyone's top list of anything.
Not my favorite Stevie album. Too many slow love songs and ballads
I like to call this musicians music. All my musician friends love this because every band member is incredibly skilled. But if you don't know what a pentatonic scale is, it just sounds like smooth jazz.
Been a long time since I listened to this all the way through. Just rock solid from A to Z. Killer guitar tone.
A truly unique singing voice. Great album to smoke a joint, grab a drink and chill
One of the all time greats
Not a George Michael fan, but the first three songs are decent.
This doesn't even make my top 1000 albums of 1968
Nice. Not thrilling, but nice
If Billy Joel and Elton John had a baby and then forced him to sing Neil Diamond songs, that would be this album
Not my favorite Rush album, but it has some top notch songs.
Not a fan of electronic music. D.A.N.C.E. was a good song tho
Really nice
One of the albums that helped launch hip hop. One of the biggest drawbacks of a lot of early hip hop albums is that they are dance albums, so the songs tend to run long for dance purposes. A lot of them would be better songs if they were cut down to 3 - 4 minutes.
Such a beautiful voice
Nice album
I mean I like Ian Dury, but top 1000? Of all time?
This album feels like a summer day with gentle breeze
One of her bests including the underrated "Why Can't We Live Together"
This band has no bad albums
I really liked this
At the height of his powers
It's fine for what it is. I guess if you had a head full of molly it's easy to listen to. If you like melodies or bridges or even a drum roll you are out of luck. Sorry, you just get one rhythm for straight minutes
Look you can't like all musical styles, so I expected there would be a few albums I struggled with. But I've been listening to rock my entire life with a particular fondness for 60's rock. Not familiar with the Small Faces, but no the Faces. Anyways the album starts and it's not too bad, I can see why they needed to add Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood. Then Happiness Stan came on and I couldn't listen anymore. Get outta here with that Ren Faire, Shire of Frodo reject. Not an album I needed to hear before I die.
Solid album
Nice album to wake up and have a cup of coffee with
Nice
I liked this way more than I thought I would.
Not my kind of music
I love his music with the Belmonts, but this is such a mature album. Your Own Backyard is a great song
