Not really my thing. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Don’t like the big band light jazz.
It’s good music, though not really my style. Great vocal performances and didn’t get bored at all throughout.
Fun and creative punk band
Some embarrassing lyrics and mediocre music
The songs are fairly well written but the production and mixing is so flat and lifeless.
Trendy 60s psychedelic snooze fest
Kind of overstays it’s welcome but it has an excellent closer. Overall great album
One big pile of steaming meh
Not really, my style, but I’ll give it an extra star for at least keep in my interest the whole way through
One of Led Zeppelin’s best albums. The guitar work is the part the stands out the most to me. Cool riffs.
Good production but way too 90s for its own good. Did not age well and a lot of songs sound like someone mocking the typical 90s sound and rap style.
This type of 80s aesthetic will always be nostalgic to me but my goodness this is unlistenable.
Pretty crazy how Adam and the ants went from sounding like animal collective to David Byrne and David Bowie. Some songs were a miss, but I enjoyed most of it.
This album has half of all of the unknown songs I heard from my dad’s radio growing up. They probably should’ve worked on their editing, though.
Typical 60s psychedelic tripe. Basically a lot of songs about drinking tea and spending time with your grand nanny. Some of the melodies weren’t that bad, so it earns a two star.
Like Elliot smith, but boring lyrics and repetitive drab melodies.
Not sure about those mumbling vocals, but pretty good instrumentals.
A collection of great pop tunes that I used to listen to every day in my mom’s car growing up. There are a few stinkers in it though towards the end of the album, so it’s not perfect.
Holy hell this shit sucks.
I really wanted to give this a 4, but the lesser known songs on this album are below average and even though the hits hit hard overall it’s just pretty good
Too much 60s psychedelic influence for my tastes. The Killing Moon is a great track though.
I really like the aesthetics of this album and there are more often good songs than stinkers on here. Feeling kind of generous on this one today.
Kind of like the B-52’s, but only the lyrics and vocals are cringe.
Uhh I mean sure, I guess.
Like a shittier REM with worse song writing.
That single is atrocious, but I must say I was impressed with the rest of the album. Especially the last two tracks
I was never a meatloaf fan, but I gotta say actually listening to the entire album wasn’t really that bad.
There’s a lot of unique and sometimes trippy stuff here, though unfortunately it goes too far into ska territory sometimes.
Trite garbage, with every song designed to reach as many episodes of Grey’s Anatomy as possible. Torture.
a surprising amount of great melodies demonstrating their creativity that would eventually evolve into Gorillaz
After bittersweet symphony, the album falls into a cringey mess with bad writing, lyrics and melodies. No thanks
