Roots by Sepultura

FINALLY some metal.

All Ratings (99)

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Aug 16 2023

Have already heard this album. Solid 3/5.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Aug 17 2023

Already heard this one. Not my thing but solid. 3/5.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Aug 21 2023

Interesting concept, kinda like a vulgar version of The Doors. Which I'm sure that's gonna offend someone that I compared these two but its just the vibe I'm getting. Tons of ambient soundscape work in these tracks, I actually had to mute the song at one point to make sure I wasn't hearing background noise from another browser tab. Really enjoyed it.

Aug 22 2023

Easily one of Pink Floyds best, if not the best, albums in their catalog. 5/5

Frampton Comes Alive by Peter Frampton
Aug 24 2023

Fantastic. Nobody does it like Frampton, and live he's unreal. Easy 5/5

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Aug 25 2023

Not my thing, but enjoyed the instrumentals and mixing. Has a classic vibe about it, makes you wanna cruise with the windows down.

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
Aug 28 2023

Again not my thing but I enjoyed this one. Never really know what to expect from Elvis Costello.

Microshift by Hookworms
Aug 29 2023

Wow this was a fantastic surprise. Never heard of them before and this was right up my alley. Moody almost progressive like, easily one of my favorite discoveries. This will definitely be getting added to the main rotation.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Sep 01 2023

What more can be said that hasn't been already about Soundgarden or just Chris Cornell in general. Legendary band, legendary album.

Back to Basics by Christina Aguilera
Sep 06 2023

Another album that's not my thing. This rating is not reflective of the quality of this album, just not something I'd listen to.

Let It Be by The Replacements
Sep 07 2023

This was ok.

Rocks by Aerosmith
Oct 24 2023

Hate to rate it a 3 but I've never been the biggest Aerosmith fan.

Take Me Apart by Kelela
Oct 25 2023

This one honestly surprised me. Production on it was fantastic, not really one for R&B but this came off kinda synthwave like? Cool album.

Searching For The Young Soul Rebels by Dexys Midnight Runners
Oct 03 2025

This one wasn't for me. Kind of gave me a ska/pop vibe but just couldn't get into it. Great production and solid sound tho, I'm sure folks are well loved.

Post Orgasmic Chill by Skunk Anansie
Oct 07 2025

Dirty, cinematic, this is definitely one of my favorite albums I've been suggested thus far. General production of this is a highlight but the vocals being so powerful and often times haunting had me coming back to this album repeatedly.

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Oct 08 2025

Unfortunately I was unable to find this streaming anywhere outside of a low quality youtube rip so I can't really speak to the quality of the production. But I can say this really wasn't for me at all. I get that this is supposed to be somewhat experimental avant rock but this was just... not good. Kinda felt like most of the people involved didn't know how to play their instruments or know how to sing. Maybe that's the point? But can't say I liked it.

Underwater Moonlight by The Soft Boys
Oct 09 2025

This was a very interesting album that I wasn't loving at the start but by the end I really started to enjoy it. The last/title track, Underwater Moonlight, in particular was a stand out favorite. This album initially gives off the vibe that it's going to be a bit of a straight forward rock/pop album but it progressively starts dipping into a more Psychedelic as it progresses. Would rate it higher but as stated didn't enjoy it until around the middle of the album. Solid production and sound tho!

The Beach Boys Today! by The Beach Boys
Oct 21 2025

I respect the beach boys but its really never been my thing.

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Oct 22 2025

aHHHHHHHH I'm bummed this is the first foo fighters album I'm getting. Not my favorite, but gotta start somewhere.
