I have not heard this album before but I know of Stevie Wonder’s existence. I recognized a few songs: Isn’t She Lovely, Sir Duke, and Pastime Paradise. Some songs that stood out to me for being catchy/likable were: I Wish and All Day Sucker. A song I could go without hearing again is Easy Goin’ Evening (My Mama’s Call). The songs in this album are on the longer side with many instrumentals. I think I would listen to this album again but I wouldn’t integrate it into my regular playlists as it’s not my ideal taste in music.
I have not heard this album before and I only know of The Strokes by name. I was a bit apprehensive about listening as I thought their genre would be too left field for my taste but I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself liking all of their songs in some way. A few songs I would like to mention are: Barely Legal, Soma, and Alone, Together (which I really like the instrumental from). I would say my least favourite song on the album is the title track, Is This It. The songs are very short in length with primarily vocals and only a few guitar solos (which were good). I will definitely listen to this album again; I just have to find a playlist to put it in.
I know of Radiohead but this album was not the sound I was expecting. Granted, the reviews say that this album marked a shift in their style, dropping from traditional rock music. It has an electronic sound with many instrumentals and eerie vocals. I did not enjoy this album as the vibes were sad and dystopian. Some tracks I did like the best were: How to Disappear Completely and Morning Bell. I think I’d listen to more of Radiohead’s earlier music as they were on my list to check out but definitely not listening to this album again.
I had not heard this album before but I’ve been waiting to listen to Jimi Hendrix. It sure does cover the sound of psychedelic rock. There weren’t a lot of songs that stood out to me in any way which makes me relate this album to background music. However, there were some songs I liked better than others. Those are: Fire, 51st Anniversary, and Red House. There’s nothing wrong with the album, just let down that it wasn’t revolutionary. I think I will listen to more of Jimi Hendrix just because he is so famous in the music pioneer world.
I have heard of this album before being a Beatles fan but I had not listened to it yet. I heard the song Imagine before and it is still my favourite off this album. I overall enjoyed all of the songs with just Oh Yoko! being the only meh song. My favorites other than Imagine were: Oh my love, How do you sleep?, and Jealous guy. I will definitely listen again!
I have never heard of R.E.M. before so listening to this album made me excited to explore something different. And it did not disappoint! I liked all of the songs; some even made me start dancing along and mouthing the words. My favorites were: Radio Free Europe, Pilgrimage, and We Walk. I will definitely listen again and may even explore more of R.E.M.’s music!
I had never heard of this album or group. This isn’t really my taste in music so I wouldn’t intentionally put this on but I wouldn’t mind hearing it again as background music. I did actually recognize one song, Intro, which is an instrumental that is a popular audio. Some songs that stood out to me a bit more were: Infinity, Crystalised, and Night Time. There were songs, however, that I really didn’t like, those were: Fantasy, and Basic Space. I don’t think I will give this album another listen.
I had not heard this album before but I had heard of Alanis Morissette’s name. This album was shockingly good! I did not like the first track at all (All I Really Want) but after that I was thoroughly enjoying the album. My favourite song was: You Oughta Know. I even found myself recognizing a couple songs that I had no idea were from this artist, those were: Hand in my Pocket, and Ironic. I will listen to this album again!
I have not listened to The Beach Boys yet but they sound exactly how I expected. I’m not so into the early rock n roll from the 60’s so none of the songs really stood out to me. The last track was just a conversation which I didn’t like (Bull session with “Big Daddy”). It wasn’t terrible so I will listen again if I had to but I would not intentionally put this album on.
This is the second Radiohead album I have listened to because of this website. I have to say, I still don’t like them. None of the songs stood out to me and most I didn’t want to listen again. I did like: Go to Sleep though. I can’t tell if this was worse than Kid A but regardless I won’t listen again.
I have actually listened to this album before and love The Beatles’ music. However, I’m not too familiar with every single song so I re listened to this album to refresh my memory and fell in love with it again. My favourite tracks were: She’s leaving home, Lucy in the sky with diamonds, Good morning good morning, and With a little help from my friends. I didn’t find any bad tracks so I will listen to more of this album.
I had not heard this album or band before. This sound was very different from the other albums I’ve listened to so far from this website. But I liked it. Not many songs stood out to me as favorites so I’ll listen again to see if I like it more. Anyways I did like: Summertime Rolls, and Pigs in Zen. Thank you boys was only a one minute song so I regarded that as my skip song. They are hard rock so I can see myself getting into their music, will listen again!

There’s a lot of pretty instrumentals so this makes a great album for background noise. My favourite tracks were: Northern Sky and At the chime of a city clock. My least favorite track was Fly. I would listen to this album again but I wouldn’t intentionally play it.
I have not heard of this album before or know the band. From the title I thought the songs would be in French but I was wrong. This album is very disco which I like so I thoroughly enjoyed listening to their music. My favorites were: At last I am free, Happy man, and I want your love. I even recognized Le Freak so that made me very happy to rehear that song. I will definitely listen again!
I have not heard this album before but I have heard of The Who. I really liked this album just good ole rock. I recognized the instrumental from Baba O’Riley because it was an audio on TikTok. The rest of the song was good. My favorites were: The song is over, behind blue eyes, and I don’t even know myself. I will listen again!

I have heard of Johnny Cash but never listened to his music because I’m not a huge fun of country. This album confirmed that. I never liked live albums so this album was a set up for failure in my books. I will not listen again.

This is the second time I’m listening to OutKast from this website. And wow I have not listened to an album this long before. But it wasn’t a bad listen. My favorite OutKast song was on this album, Hey Ya! But some other great tracks included: GhettoMusick, Roses, and Draculas wedding. My least favorites were: the interludes and Reset and Vibrate. I will definitely listen to the rest of this double album again!
I have not heard of this album but I have heard of Pantera being in the metal scene. The songs didn’t immediately grasp my interest but I might change my mind at another listen. The songs that did stand out to me were: Walk, This love, and Hollow. I will listen to this album again.
I have not heard of this band before but this album made me want to get into this type of music more. It reminded me of Oasis (typical British pop rock). All the tracks were good to listen to and my favorites were: One to another and How High. I’ll definitely listen again!

I’ve been waiting to listen to Iron Maiden cause I know I will love their music so I was really excited for this album. I did know one song: Run to the hills which is still my favorite. I liked: The prisoner and Hallowed be thy name as well. Will definitely listen again!

I have heard of Aerosmith and listened to Walk this Way which is off this album. Though the rest of it didn’t really impress me much which I was sad about since the songs I do know from Aerosmith are really good. I did like: You see me crying though. I will listen again and maybe other Aerosmith albums will be better.

I have not heard this album but I have heard of JAY Z. Not the biggest fan of rap but I think it’s growing on me after listening to many rap/hip hop albums from this website. I liked Izzo (H.O.V.A.), Hola Hovito, Heart of the city, and Renegade because it had Eminem on it. I probably won’t listen to the album in its entirety again.
I have not heard of this band before but I’m glad this album exposed me to more female rock bands. I initially didn’t like the sound of the vocals but it grew on me the more I listened. My favorite tracks were: Turn it on, Little babies, and Jenny. I will definitely listen again!

I recognized: More than a feeling (I even knew that that song would be on this album). All the tracks were really good but the one to stand out to me was: Peace of mind. I have listened to Queen a lot but never got round to listening to this particular album yet. I love Queen so it was a fun and easy listen. The song that spoke the most to me was: White Queen. But I was dancing along to most of the other tracks. Will definitely listen again!

I have not listened to this album yet, but I did know the Ramones from listening to Blitzkrieg Bop before. This album started off strong, I liked how each song gave me a taste of their overall sound since they are so short. But I noticed how the instrumental was very repetitive for many of their songs which resulted in a merging effect that didn’t make many songs stand out to me. However, I did like: Beat on the Brat. I didn’t know this was a punk album cause it didn’t feel very punk to me but then again I haven’t listened to much punk music. I will listen again!
I have heard this album before and listen to a lot of Led Zeppelin’s music. This album has a lot of great songs that I immediately recognize so it makes for a great listen. My favorite tracks are: Immigrant Song, Since I’ve been loving you, and Tangerine. It’s already in my playlist so definitely listening again!

I listened to this album a while ago since I’ve heard a lot of Adele on the radio growing up. She wasn’t my favorite pop artist as I didn’t vibe with the slow heartfelt ballads she does often but she has a lot of good songs on this album. I love: Rolling in the deep, Rumour has it, and set fire to the rain. I still appreciate her music even though it’s not my taste anymore.

This album has a lot of nostalgic value because almost all the tracks were hits when I was a child. I was never super into Taylor Swift then and I most definitely am not now. I liked Shake it Off and Style though but I can quickly become sick of it because of how overplayed they are. Won’t listen again at will.

I love AC/DC and listen to a lot of their music but I never listened to this album in full. There was a lot of tracks I recognized but I think all of these songs were absolute hits.
