Sigur Ros. Enough said.
Interesting, a bit too funky for my listening and not sure when I'd actively listen to it again.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, was a nice short ride. But every song had heart to it.
interesting album, very strong start, it got me absolutely pumped. But it dropped off a bit and all kind of became a blur. Felt like a lot of (very good) singles rather than a solid album.
Makes me wish I was sitting in a cocktail bar dancing with strangers and just having a great time. She has an incredible voice, The album has that old hiss underlying all the songs which is quite magic tbh. Very of an era, and maybe not something I'd listen to when driving or anything, but it's a beautiful, slow, Sunday afternoon album
Track to sounded like Voodoo child. Already knew Porcelain. To be honest, incredibly impressed so far and can't believe I've not listened to this album before. Didn't overly enjoy south side... Really liked the feel of the final track, was a really nice end to the album. Overall a lot of very good tracks but a few that I found a bit boring.
I think a pretty weak start for the album tbh. Track 2 is instantly better than track 1. Antichrist television blues was a really enjoyable song. Possibly my favourite on the album. Really picked up towards the end of this album and I really started enjoying it, but not a strong start for me.
Wow. INcredible album. A lot of completely unexpected but joyous fun moments. Really enjoyed this one.
yeah, so better than I thought. Some fun/clever lyrics and overall a pretty positive experience. Maybe a bit samey throughout but it was enjoyable!
pretty good!
Pretty good album. Land Ho! was stand out for me but the whole album was an easy listen with some interesting songs. Really enjoyed it!
Not bad, got a bit boring tbh
Some incredible songs here and some lyrics felt way ahead of it's time. Gave me some comforting wintery vibes on a lot of tracks.
Yeah it was okay, track 3 was great, reminded me of Nic Jones.
This was an interesting listen. very samey throughout but kind of enjoyable. Obviously an incredible start. Kinda wished the album was over at track 7 though to be fair. Though the choir vocals on track 8 were great.
Pretty darn good!
Not a bad album, Elvis Presley Blues was the stand out track for me. Very mellow, would be interested listening to it with headphones on staring out the window on a rainy day.
yeh, was okay. Reminded me of Cap'n Jazz a little on some tracks.
Very fun album and really quite enjoyable tbh. Some stand out hits on it. You can hear the Prince influence through a lot of it. My favourite song was Dear Jessie! Like a prayer is still a masterpiece even now.
Wasn't a huge fan of this one tbh
Extremely dull. I have zero desire to ever listen to this album again.
very of an era, but not too shabby!
not bad
Really fun album. Very impressed. Something weirdly modern about it as well.
Very samey, and very 90's matrix. Got a bit bored half way through, Though the classics on this are still absolute bangers tbf
meh
Some absolute crackers on this (mainly She's losing it) a sad lonely sunday morning album
Nothing much to say here. Was an alright album. Didn't blow me away though.
Enjoyed this. Some Dead kennedy vibes. Human Cannonball and The O-Man were stand out tracks for me. Second half of the album was way better than the start.
Yeah it was alright.
Amazing album, from start to finish. Emerald is a fantastic song as is Dancing in the moonlight. Also a big fan of the ending of Rosalie. There's something about the overall sound in this album that I really enjoy. Fantastic live album and was very happy to see it on the list!
This was a decent/fun listen. Also quite fascinating as he's a super interesting dude! Will hopefully check out more of his albums.
Classic coldplay
Meh
heard on a rope before but no others. was a fairly decent album, but nothing mind blowing.
Wasn't a huge fan of this unfortunately.
Some cracking songs, definitely improved my opinion of the beatles!
Pretty good. Hadn't heard any of this before!
Extremely good album. Very easy listening but also very complex at the same time. loved it.
Yeah this was pretty good. Not sure it really hit me that hard. Track 5 was my favourite.
Track 3 was amazing. Very punky vibes. Overall really enjoyed this album and ended up listening to it a few times. Shocked I'd not heard of them before
started off really interested, but by track 3 this just became background noise for me.
Meh, hate his voice.
okay, so this was really good. Especially once I started deep diving into 'Videotape'. This was a really good album. Listened a few times already!
like some average supermarket background music
Great album, some songs were a bit long, but overall really good.
This was really good. Quite a unique sound. never listened to much leonard Cohen for some reason. Will dive into more!
This was super interesting and like nothing I'd really listened to before. Felt almost mesmerising/trance like at times! Really enjoyed it!
Didn't really do too much for me
Enjoyed a few songs on this and it took me by surprise to be honest. I quite enjoyed the synth wave undertones on some of the tracks.
Not badddddddddddddd. Some great dynamics going on in this!
yeah it was okay. Bot boring.
Latter half of the album was good. I dunno though, it didn't hit me too hard. I think a 2/5 for me!
Not my favourite Zeppelin album but absolutely banging all the same
Really enjoyed this. Took me back to THPS days weirdly. Not something I'd usually listen to, but it was super cool. Really good album Some really great lyrics and they are very playful with words.
This was a bit uninspired for me tbh. Was hoping to like it a bit more than I did!
Great riffs, but some of the most repetitive songs I've ever heard. They went on far too long
Really enjoyed this, snappy, short, and a whole lotta fun. Can only imagine it would have been absolutely wild being at that show!
Couldn't really get into this to be honest. Felt like a chore.
Solid album, but missing a little oomph
Very boring.
Sigur Ros. Enough said.
so many screams.
Quite enjoyed this tbf, some bits I sort of recognised, but overall something nice to work to on a sunny day!
First few songs were okay, then I got a bit bored tbh
Track 7 had me hoping the album had finished. Track 1 was great though.
Thought this was really good, very dreamy. It did stretch it out over the course of a day though. Would have been hard to do in a oner
What an album. I already knew the classics on this album (though i didn't realise they were all from the same album) But the covers were amazing on this, and the whole album was pieced together extremely well. An absolute delight to listen to. A lot of fun with some hard hitting emotion thrown in at the end. One of my favourites so far on the list.
I thought this was a bit vocally stale to be honest. The bass absolutely slaps though.
Pretty boring other than the stand outs
This was way more interesting than I thought and my pre conceptions of this album were that it sounded like Oasis, I was very wrong. Enjoyable!
Decent covers by WIllie here!
This was alright, but extremely repetitive, really reminded me of the early skating days!
meh
This was good fun!
Pretty annoying to listen to to be honest.
Yeah it's pretty good, good fun. But probably wouldn't keep listening too it over and over.
Love this album, track 3-7 are incredible!
A bit samey for me. Not great.
Really quite enjoyed this tbh. Gave me Sufjan vibes. Track 1 was the stand out
Great album! Can't go too wrong with Deep Purple tbh
