I liked some of this but most of it was noise

Never heard this all the way through before and idk how, it’s perfect. “After the September 11 attacks, the American compact disc release was delayed from September 25 to October 9 and had its track list amended, with the song "New York City Cops" being removed and replaced.” Lol

I think I’d prefer the songs as singles. Hearing them all back to back as an album became repetitive to the point of grating

Already pre-programmed to like anything she does. The album is a little all over the place but I never minded

This was good! It felt like the bridge between rock from the 1960s and indie rock from the 2010s

Massive. Highs were incredibly high, lows were very low, but ultimately really enjoyed listening to this all the way through for the first time

Great songs and fine on its own, but it just made me want to listen to the versions of these songs that I like more

My parents never let me listen to this when I was younger and… woof yeah I get it good call parents

This is incredibly good and then Lauryn Hill comes on the track and really takes it to the next level

Really loved this. It was cool to hear back to back the Bonita Applebum sample in the Fugee's Killing Me Softly.

Okay so the 1001 Albums author is a Dusty Springfield stan. Liked this more than the last one we listened to, it feels like she found her own style between that one and this one.

I'm only rating this a 4 because I know we’ll be listening to other Beatles albums that I know are 5’s (I can't wait for you, Abbey Road). It’s fun to hear how their style solidified even in their earliest albums.

This album came out when I was finally determining my own taste in music, separate from what my parents shared with me, and it really changed my whole music discovery journey for the better. So glad it still holds the hell up.

Really the best. When Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting) came on I transcended.
