Bridge Over Troubled Water
Simon & Garfunkel“Everywhere I go I get slandered, libeled, I hear words I never heard in the Bible” is getting incorporated into my vocabulary.

Haven't really explored the Smashing Pumpkins before, excited to hear more
I liked some of this but most of it was noise
Never heard this all the way through before and idk how, it’s perfect. “After the September 11 attacks, the American compact disc release was delayed from September 25 to October 9 and had its track list amended, with the song "New York City Cops" being removed and replaced.” Lol
Didn’t mind this
Classic classic rock
I think I’d prefer the songs as singles. Hearing them all back to back as an album became repetitive to the point of grating
Already pre-programmed to like anything she does. The album is a little all over the place but I never minded
This was good! It felt like the bridge between rock from the 1960s and indie rock from the 2010s
Massive. Highs were incredibly high, lows were very low, but ultimately really enjoyed listening to this all the way through for the first time
Great songs and fine on its own, but it just made me want to listen to the versions of these songs that I like more
My parents never let me listen to this when I was younger and… woof yeah I get it good call parents
This is incredibly good and then Lauryn Hill comes on the track and really takes it to the next level
Really loved this. It was cool to hear back to back the Bonita Applebum sample in the Fugee's Killing Me Softly.
Okay so the 1001 Albums author is a Dusty Springfield stan. Liked this more than the last one we listened to, it feels like she found her own style between that one and this one.
Groovie
Love Prince generally but this didn't work for me
Woo a non-English language album! Really liked the blend of genres.
This wasn't for me, I typically don't like jam sessions like this
He came onto these tracks mad as hell!! Really great stuff.
Stevie Wonder really is one of the GOATs. Joyous, wonderful – I loved all of this.
Good, though not my personal preference. I have to imagine that playing guitars like this feels therapeutic
Really liked this, wild that it’s a debut album, sad we didn’t get more
This was boring
I'm only rating this a 4 because I know we’ll be listening to other Beatles albums that I know are 5’s (I can't wait for you, Abbey Road). It’s fun to hear how their style solidified even in their earliest albums.
Of course I gave it five stars argue with someone else
Good debut from a low key band, excited to see what they do next
Epcot ambience
The guitar work is great but the singing irritated me so much.
Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuce
Really saved the best for last
So good
Really cool, I started by having it on as background music but got into the groove of it as it went on

“Twenty four hours” was very good but otherwise eh
Enjoyed the famous ones, otherwise just fine
I liked this, I’d give it a 3.5 if I could
Incredible
“Everywhere I go I get slandered, libeled, I hear words I never heard in the Bible” is getting incorporated into my vocabulary.
Solid, this must’ve been great irl
Ice T? The SVU actor?
Fuck yeah
I don’t know what the fuck she’s saying but girl I am living
Good vocals but not for me
Did I know when one song ended and the next started? No. Are they still one of my favorite bands? Yes.
The movie is great too if you haven't seen it
- a star because she endorsed Trump
Never listened to this all the way through before, very good
Ali-pilled
It's sad that this is the only Daft Punk album on here because while great, I like Discovery more
I mean come on, five stars for Sir Duke alone
Haven't really explored the Smashing Pumpkins before, excited to hear more
Classic. Did not expect this to be as epic as it is
Really surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Not sure what this says about me.
In 2014 I saw singers from Beach House, Fleet Foxes, and Grizzly Bear cover this album front to back and idk if I’ll ever be that Obama-era hipster ever again
I mean come on
He gets me
This album came out when I was finally determining my own taste in music, separate from what my parents shared with me, and it really changed my whole music discovery journey for the better. So glad it still holds the hell up.
Really the best. When Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting) came on I transcended.
Repetitive but in a nice, calm Sunday morning kind of way
Meh
Really liked this!
I love being Irish
