Not my favorite Bowie album, what did Ian Curtis see in this one? The soulful Bowie began to emerge here, so it’s important in terms of his evolution but I dunno, just wasn’t it for me. Can I review The Man Who Sold The World

Stones were the Foo Fighters of their time, the singles are good to great but you’d have to shut your brain off to get through anything else.

Sweet guitar but damn is Bruce’s voice grating. How can 6 minute fast metal songs feel like they last ages?

An objectively great album. Proof that punk rock can clean up nicely and still pack a punch.

They do a great job of making music that sounds like they really like two or three bands. Not a knock.

Pure Moods has found its polar opposite.

Strong start that builds to a perfect stretch of songs beginning with the title track and ending with The Day I Tried To Live. The only fault I find with Superunknown is that it’s, to quote Scott Wieland, “Bloa-Ted.”

You know an album is exceptional when the weakest song is the one with Paul McCartney

Being a KISS fan in the 70s must have been wild, but this is 2024 and there’s no reason every song needs to be based around the power of rock and roll.

I hope the title of this album is literal because they deserve to see how many times I yawned while listening to this.

4.5 If you made a top 25 list for Hip Hop, the Beastie Boys would be an honorable mention.

Didn’t know this band outside of Teenage Kicks, this album was glorious. How to do churn out this many catchy songs?

Half the James Brown experience is seeing him do that thing where he collapses on stage, seemingly from exhaustion, and a stage hand drapes a cape over him to usher him out, only for James Brown to discard the cape and come back to life.

good album that kind of just played through without any repeats. If I see this on a top 5 of all time list, I’ll assume two things 1. I had to be alive at the time to fully get this album 2. This person will ask me to open a pdf.

Led Zeppelin is far too talented to have a song as flat as Black Dog open an album. Two stinkers upfront stood between LZ4 and a coveted 5 star review
