Pink Moon
Nick DrakeI didn’t get any of the lyrics and I fucking hated everything about this album. I’m sorry

Fresh and experimental, I absolutely loved it. Every song and every turn is completely unpredictable and as a result very new and fresh. Great mixture of industial/electro sounds with Hispanic/African/Eastern/Indian motives
Not my kind of music; a lot of noises that generally do not harmonize with each other. Sounds a lot like Franz Ferdinand but in more bizarre and messy way.
Great storytelling. Very smart, very edgy. Liked the conceptuality of it
I appreciate to find this very album as the RHCP's first in this list. I love Under the Bridge and loved hard rock riffs and rythms, although I prefer later albums

Really calming and comforting music, makes you feel good and light. Like a big hug or a big blanket. No big emotions. I think we all desperately need it. Also reminded me of Julie London.
Very good music. And idk something just keeps me from giving it 4. The music is really good but sounds a lot like many other funky music? And lacks uniqueness and novelty?
Didn't like it nor hate it
I really loved it. Great music that sounds really unforced, pure Bob Dylan in every way possible. Although I didn't get the idea of the album as of a whole and complete unit and shamefully think that one can listen to this album on shuffle.
Generally enjoyed the album, the second half more than the first one. Also cringed a but at the Imagine cover but must admit it was not necessarily a bad experience.
Good action/family movie soundtrack
Realy enjoyed this one and the experience was great. Felt new to me and very fresh. And although it felt like the mixture of Pink Floyd, Radiohead and Cigarettes After Sex, the sound is still very unique
It’s not completely bad but I didn’t like it
Raw and authentic. I appreciated a live recording and of course loved drums solos. Also this album helped me understand why exactly ‘The World is a Ghetto’ was a 3 - it was too ‘right’, too aligned and ironed. It is generally not bad but not for this style and genre where the feeling of musical freedom is greatly desired.

Not my kind of music in general and not that I will listen to any of its tracks ever again but the album is really decent. Too many sounds and noises for me but there are some interesting tracks and the whole sounding is good. I'm really far from being a shoegaze fan but if stars align I someday might relisten the whole album.
I really loved it. We all know these songs. And we've heard a million versions of them. Every other well-known artist has brought their own unique sound and meanings (mostly through their vocals), be it grandiosity, overwhelming longing or endless pain. But Willie Nelson has brought the serenity and acceptance of your fate. No hard feelings. Nelson's vocals are so calm and tender. So are the instruments. There is no storm of emotions but it doesn't mean there is no emotions at all. It's just about having this modest inner strength and not making a big deal of what your life brings. Perfect album for a demure autumn day, which is what today is. 08.01.25 update: it's been 3 weeks now and I find myself returning to this album very often. It calms and comforts me.
I will forever love La Grange but ladly that’s it
I am no hip hop expert and honestly assumed that Kendrick Lamar’s tunes are innovative and new. I was wrong.
It was interesting and felt like mind-expending experience
I used to think the Stones’ music was noisy, vulgar, pretentious and generally overrated. Whis album proved me wrong. Very nice root rock sounds. ‘Dear Doctor’ is my favorite from the album
So whiny. But hey, thanks for inspiring the Beatles!
I am really disappointed that I didn't love this album because it's the first full Radiohead album that I'd ever listened to and my expectations were high. Generally the sound and harmonies seemed ok - not bad but not super exciting. Maybe I miss some context or something, idk. I loved Jigsaw Falling Into Place and that's it.
Honestly the never ending unremarkable electric guitar sound just made me exhausted. Only bass lines were nice. I understand why this album is not bad but I completely don't understand why everybody think it's great
Great accordion and generally interesting sound but half way through I got soo bored
I love blues rock and I love Eric Clapton. But this album seemed so fucking long and boring. Also I think Layla doesn't fit into the album at all. Expected some good songs like Layla and didn't get it.
Ugh
Mind blowing and just fucking awesome
Beautiful. Enjoyed every song
I absolutely wasn't aware of the progressive rock era of Elton John and was nicely surprised. I can't say that I loved every song but the title song is extraordinary.
Glam rock is not glam rocking
It’s Elvis
There is a lot of vibe and distinct style but I got a little bored by the middle and by the end of it
I'm not a fan of metal/heavy metal but this is beautiful and really surprised me. Osbourne's vocals and the instruments are heavy rocking but at the same time are also harmonic, symphony-like even.
Although it gets a liiiittle boring because a lot of songs sound the same, this album is a 100% match to my music taste
Besides the fact that Dolly Parton is an absolute treasure (and I’m not even American) and that my heart simply doesn’t allow me to put anything less than 5, I really enjoyed this album. And I felt like being supported and like I’m not alone.
Conceptual, non-trivial indie rock, which is rare in my opinion. Enjoyed it very much
Shitty metal album. I could not get through it
It was nice and I actually danced to some tracks but that's it
For a long time I've been loving Love, God, Working Class Hero, Mother. And really wanted this album to be a 5. But all other songs in this album are just a bunch of crazy weird shit and sound boring. Yoko's vocals is what these other songs are missing. 08.01.25 update: it's also fucking pretentious
It’s ok but not my kind of vibe
This side of Bruce Springsteen's music is praised and recognized less than it deserves. Unlike his more popular songs, this album is heartbreaking but also does not give this overwhelming and almost unrealistic feeling of joy and freedom.
It must be good but I didn't get it and generally do not understand jazz. And I'm really sad about it
It would be much better to have more of female vocals in this album. Somebody to love is a banger; White rabbit is tense and just great. And guess what they have in common?
Beautiful dark vibe. Not suicidally dark but like romantically and gothically dark.
I honestly did not expect much because always thought that Muse is not my kind of music. But from the very beginning this album absorbed me fully and took me to some beautiful intergalactic journey where thanks to the beauty and the power of the music I could touch and experience a huge energy and a lot of love that is there in every one of us
So many emotions and images right now. Felling easy, fearless, dreamy, eager for life, full of joy, free, overwhelmed with the feeling of freedom even. Listening to Bruce and this album specifically just took me to my happy carefree teenage years that I never had.
I'm amazed how Jim Morrison can be rough and wild in one song and gentle and meditative in another. Loved this album and was happy to hear new songs that were unknown to me and find out they all are just as great as the popular ones. Easy 5
Although the title song is ok, the rest of it is annoyingly boring
I thinkh Elliott Smith is genius, I think this album is heartbreaking and fascinating in all aspects. I've been loving this album for a long time but only today I realised how MUCH I fucking love this album. I wish I could erase my memory and listen to it for the first time again. In my toughest moments I can find comfort and support and sympathy and solidarity in this only album. And that is because I feel like through this album Elliott Smith takes a share of every listener's suffer and pain.
