Moss Side Story
Barry AdamsonVery interesting artist and album. It sounds like a movie soundtrack - come to find out he's done a lot of soundtracks. I'd listen to this again, good background music.

Strong start, it peters out at the tail end.
I hated the first song. I was impressed by how long some of the songs were. It compelled me to dive deeper into the history of the band. The guitar player, Tony lommi rips. There was also a harmonica at some point if I remember correctly.
Paul Simon's album of the same name. I really liked this album. A good variety for a singer/songwriter. Lots of storytelling and painting pictures in an approachable way. The song order wove a tapestry and ended with what seemed like a conclusion.
Ok, so this was super surprising because I can't stand Kanye as a man. So I never listened to this album before. There are SO many guests on it. I really liked all the songs except 2. This one was an hour and 8 minutes. Some bangers on here. "All of the Lights"... It was produced by West and features additional vocals from several other recording artists, including John Legend, The-Dream, Drake, Alicia Keys, Fergie, Elton John, Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams, La Roux, Alvin Fields, Ken Lewis, Kid Cudi, and Rihanna; the latter two are credited on the official music ...
Reminds me of my childhood. Classic, unmistakable voice of Bruce Dickenson. Solid. The themes of control & war woven throughout.
Not for me. This was a great album for them. It got played way too much and it tastes bad in my mouth.
Civilized dinner party music if you're drinking wine. Background worthy. First album I didn't get through. It feels very much like a certain time in space. But it's stuck there.
An original. Ultimately, it always makes me a little sad. The music is sad and interesting and pretty. But an unhappy ending for a man that wrote love letters to Portland.
3 songs held up for me. Although I know this is a ground-breaking band, it was a little too out there for me. I wish I could give it one more half-star. Cities, Life During Wartime
Unlistenable.
Great album. Sufficiently weird and guitar wails.
I have heard the name, but didn't know the album. Really enjoyed it. Looks like it was his sophomore album.
Super Eclectic, and memorable. Learned a lot.
Aussie band - garage rock. Their songs can be very hard and screamy, but there are also some ballads. Nice range of different songs.
2 songs, 38 minutes! Background music. It's ok.
She's a storyteller. Pretty voice.
still holds up. glad I got to learn about that guy.
I appreciate what they were doing and all, but this was a chore. The thing that really puts me over the edge is that weird feathering in her voice. I hate that. Great cover, though
I wish we could give albums half stars. This one is a banger, I'm going to round up.
flow
great harmonies
yeah, just not my thing. side note: pretty depressing
I liked the music, but the lyrics are shit and left me under the impression that Randy Newman is grade-A buttstock. I later found out he did a bunch of Disney music. It's probably better.
Sometimes I really wonder about the people making this list.
I didn't get it. I know the hype around this one. Didn't grab me at all.
That was REALLY good. 5 guys. 1972. Smoke on the Water - I've never enjoyed it as much as in this context. Banger.
Beautiful melodies. Great album. I was surprised, I thought it might be more boring, but I wasn't bored.
So. Many. Hits.
This one surprised me - it was better than I thought. Their sophomore album? I just loved the first one so much. It started slow for me, but it's a fine album. A fine album.
Interesting album! I appreciate it even though it's not what I love traditionally.

Great album, very nostalgic. Just goes to show how personal music is. Reminds me of being a kid in our van. Our parents liked this. And, of course, there's always the Courtney Cox dance. Bruce Springsteen is a national treasure.
Really diverse album! Super talented.
Lively.
Surprised at how much I liked this.
I didn't care for this album. I just don't like R.E.M. But I respect R.E.M. Most of the songs on this album are hits. My favorite song was "Nightswimming". I did not know that I didn't care for R.E.M. before listening to this album.
Different! Great music to work to. It started over and I didn't even blink.
Not good.
