Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Feb 17 2025

I liked this album a lot. Definitely in the indie rock genre of today to me but more in the 'classic rock' category just by being released in 1971. Bang a Gong (Get It On) was the only song I recognized but I did enjoy most of the album. It's not one I am likely to reach for often in the future but I'm glad I listened to all of it.

Boston by Boston
Feb 19 2025
Metallica by Metallica
Feb 20 2025

I owned this album back in the day and listened regularly. It truly rocks from start to finish and is by far my favorite Metallica album. That being said, Metallica is not my favorite band and not one I reach for regularly.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Feb 21 2025

I had this album back in the day too. It was pretty revolutionary and poised Eminem as one of the top rappers of his time. Highly recommend for any Eminem fans. It's not one I'd reach for regularly today.

Horses by Patti Smith
Feb 22 2025

Not really my cup of tea. Certainly an interesting album and glad I heard it but probably won't listen again.

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Feb 23 2025

Not really my style overall.

Risque by CHIC
Feb 24 2025

It's amazing to hear a funky and iconic song like Good Times. But other than that I found the rest of the album pretty one dimensional. I don't think I would listen again.

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Feb 25 2025

Really enjoying this one more than I expected! I'd heard Everyday People before and liked it. I particularly loved Sing a Simple Song, Sex Machine, and I want to Take you higher.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 26 2025

This is an incredible album. I'd listened to all of this when it came out but it isn't something I typically reach for and it was far overplayed at release in my opinion. Hearing it now, I like it more.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Feb 27 2025

Pretty good! Mostly a little too mellow for me but I really enjoyed the songs Marrakesh Express and Long Time Gone. Not an album I'd choose often but loved those two songs!

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
Feb 28 2025

Pretty fantastic album but just not really my style or something I'd want to listen to often.

Stankonia by OutKast
Mar 01 2025

What a great album. I LOVED Bombs Over Baghdad and So Fresh and so Clean back in the day. But I don't think I'd ever listened to the whole album. Also loved Humble Mumble with Erika Badu. I am very likely to re-listen to this.

Ramones by Ramones
Mar 02 2025

The Romones are great and I'd heard a few tracks from this album but hadn't listened to the whole thing before. Good stuff. Not something I'd reach for often.

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Mar 03 2025

Great bluesy rock album. My Mom definitely had their albums growing up. I actually thought I'd like it more than I did. I LOVE the song Layla.

Moon Safari by Air
Mar 04 2025

Holy Cow! I LOVE this album so much. This is perfect for chill listening during my workday. I added most of the album to a playlist I have for this and it may become a go-to album for me. I'm going to have to explore more of their music!

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Mar 05 2025

I'm really glad I listened to this but this just isn't my cup of tea. Very talented musician and interesting music. Just not something I want to listen to often

Graceland by Paul Simon
Mar 06 2025

What a great album! I've heard at least 3 of these songs a lot. Cecelia, She's Got Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes, and You Can Call me Al. These songs are really fun and refreshing. I added a few to one of my main playlists

Mar 07 2025

Pretty good. I definitely prefer the Beatles over this. Not sure I'd listen to this album again.

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Mar 08 2025

Wow. I LOVE this album. I wish I'd known about it earlier. Perfect classy and chill music. I will definitely have this on hand more often.

Mar 09 2025

This is a really interesting album! I don't know that I've ever heard anything like this and can totally understand why this has been considered such an important album in terms of progressive rock. I'm not sure I would want to listen to this all the time, but I really enjoyed the lesson and would recommend it to others.

Roots by Sepultura
Apr 03 2025

I was very into this genre in the mid 90s and never got around to listening to Sepultura. Wow. Great friggin album. Adding many songs to my 'heavy' playlist. Not something I'd listen to often these days but really high quality album for this genre.
