A good mix of mainstream rock going on, on this album. All the best songs are popular for a reason but some horrible songs. It gives off Australian summer vibes which I grew up on so it’s almost nostalgic. Some favourites include Otherside and Californiaction and I like dirt can smd cuz that sucked. A lot of 10/10 songs and 1 or 2 3s on this album but the good ones make up for it and just for that reason I would give it a 7.7/10 3.8/5

Rly good album. Good chill vibe of folk, rock and country vibes. It felt like some 80s sitcom intro at times with a paper boy listening to a Walkman which what made it this decent. A few stand outs like count & count but other than that everything sorta blended together well. 8.7 overall 4.3/5

This was a very long listen. The music itself wasn’t that bad tbh but the mix of 20 minutes songs, it being a live album and 10 minute long guitar solo this was shit. Now I’ll give it too them fusing blues, jazz and rock together but ppl have done it x10 better over the years. Just a very boring listen and had to split it up thru out the day and still barely got thru. For me it’s a 2.7/10 1.3/5

It would be good going to sleep but I wasn’t so it wasn’t as good. At specific moments this is a 10 but other than that it’s a a good 6-7 and the mood I was in was sitting around there. All sorta blended together well so that might be a reason it is highly rated. Good mix of shoegaze, ethereal guitars, vocals in the background and I love me some alt indie. Lowkey might need to re listen later on at night to get the full experience. 7.4/10 3.7/10

This album sounds like if Olivia Rodrigo made rock. Just corny lyrics, sounds very 2000s rocky pop, mixed with like grunge or sum shit idk what to call it but every song is literally the same. Not my vibe at all it’s very girly music to get u hyped too. Just boring tbh. A few good songs like Not My Idea, My Lover’s Box and A Stroke Of Luck but other than a whole lotta mid. Lowkey just makes me uncomfortable with the lyrics and mood. I get why u might like this but it’s a 4/10 2/10

This album is very soothing and sad. I fw indie pop/rock a lot tbh. I’m very connected to this album almost like I AM MUSIC. Nah but can someone help Beck he’s going thru something. The only problem I have is that his voice is very raw so at times it can be very hurtful of my ears but yk what can u do I like it. Some favourite The Golden Age, Round the Bend and Guess I’m doing Fine AMAZING SONGS. I’m very tempted to give this a 5 star but I just can’t having the last 2 songs being sorta mid. Overall I would have to give it a 9/10 4.5/10

I actually quite enjoyed this album. Was not expecting a rnb/rap/whatever this is. Now even tho I liked this doesn’t mean there aren’t floors, Massive Attack not actually performing on this album sorta pisses me off cuz this should rly be a Shara Nelson and Tricky album more. I didn’t rly enjoy tricky’s vocals on this album but Sharas made me wanna float how angelic her voice is. Very ethereal album and I like it but it is pretty poorly aged even tho it was mixed and mastered in 2012 but it sounds soooo old. Some favourites included Unfinished Sympathy and Lately which are just Shara over a good beat😂. Overall pretty good for me a 8.3/10

Yeahhhhhhh boyyyyyyyy. I’m supposed to like this album but I rly don’t. Absolutely ear piercing beats mixed with flavour flav yelling over them. Just sooo repetitive and it’s not even good. If they didn’t just replay the same horrid sound in every song it would be so much better. I don’t see the hype other than it’s “before” it’s time which I sorta get. Adele doesn’t like to change anything up in the whole fucking album. Just sings the same shit over and over again. It’s good ig if ur a mum driving her daughter to dance but other than that why would I ever listen too this. Just sad pop music like there’s nothing good other than Adele’s vocals which get old after 3 songs. This album cover is scaring me btw if u have a boring album can we not name it 25 and have ur ugly ass face as the whole thing. Even tho it’s not good it wasn’t bad but very very mid and boring. A good ass listen. I wasn’t expecting much i knew AC/DC before this and personally didn’t rly like em but after listening too this I’m pleasantly surprised. A good way of me getting into more heavier genres with this being a Hard Rock band which I rly liked. Now there were a few songs which got annoying with the repetitive lyrics and the lead singers voice BUT that rly is the only flaw to this whole thing. And this being a Aussie band makes it x10 better feeling more close to home. Crazy guitar solos which I usually don’t like so hopefully this album would’ve changed my mind on that. Will be returning to this album making it an 8.8/10 4.4/5

See now this is what an old hip hop album should be. A lot of great samples, lyrics and flows thru out the whole album. The whole group performed rly well on this and I’m very surprised I have never heard of Jurassic 5 before even tho I’m quite familiar with Mos Def. The only problem I have with this album is that it has to be shorter it just wasn’t a type of project that needed to be an hour long but music wise it’s amazing tbh. Now I’m very on the fence if this is a 4 or 5 star with this being a 9.2/10 4.6/5

Yk for my first primarily blues album it did sorta disappoint me. The music wasn’t bad it was just such a SLEEPER of an album bored me out my mind. I’m literally so thankful this isn’t over an hour cuz I would be FIGHTING for my life. But it’s not all bad John’s vocals could put me to sleep that’s how calming his voice and it all here for it. Now I can’t say I’m the biggest fan but he’s pretty talented with fast pace high energy songs transitioning too slow lullaby type songs rly well. Overall nothing special just a solid project that I won’t return too😂 6.5/10 3.2/5

I’m confused on how I feel on this. The first song 20 minutes of sound and vocals that came right out of a japenese Toyota ad😭 But once u get past that monstrosity it isn’t that bad. Track 2 and 3 aren’t anything special but the last 2 on this album is magnificent. These two songs just are on the opposite ends of the spectrum in the same genre one makes me uncomfortable, ethereal and almost sad and the other is calming, meditative and happy. This album was defiantly and I can’t say I will return to it but I’m glad it happened but as a critical review it has too be a 4.8/10 2.4/5

FUCKING LOVED THIS ALBUM. Didn’t know I loved Michael Jackson THAT much this shit was awesome. Like 8 out of the 10 songs were perfect 10/10s. A great mix going from disco 70s vibes too sad live songs. Mixing soul, pop, rnb all together so flawlessly. Favourites include Get on the Floor and She’s out of my life. Don’t have words to explain this just a great feeling of happiness and enjoyment. 9.6 4.8/5

A great representation of jazz. This is what jazz is now even tho it is a great album it isn’t perfect. Just a bit boring for 40minutes of jazz instrumental but still good. Personally I wouldn’t listen to this in my free time but how technical and there being so many layers to it is definitely a driving factor if we are being real. What a great album. Yk my first metal album was AC/DC and I rly enjoyed that but this one knocked it out the park. Amazing guitar solos, riffs and just beautiful all around tbh. Ofc I knew smoke on the water before this but like it was just a great an album and that song might be the worst on the project. Favourite songs include Lazy and Highway Star. This is a great transition going from rock to metal would listen again. 9.5/10 4.7/5

Lowkey was good for a country album. I gotta be rly in the mood to like these songs but Nanci’s vocals were amazing I just don’t like country very much. Made me feel like I was on a farm in the middle of nowhere but like it did bore me out mid way thru cuz there rly wasn’t no variation. But the last 3 songs were amazing. I didn’t enjoy this on first listen but half way thru I started to rly like it so I restarted and found out this was brilliant. The album cover said different but it sounded like heavier the smiths which was great to hear. There were some duds where the vocals were rly annoying but others were it was great. Most of the songs were fantastic and a great indie band which I didn’t expect would be one. Ughhh idk solid 7.1/10 3.5/5

Boringest album ever why is it 3 hours. It took me 4 months to complete this and that’s 3 hours I’m never getting back. If it was 30min to an hour it would be an actually decent project but it’s just the same song repeated 50 times. I don’t rly know what to say other then it’s the same song for 3 hours. 3.6/10 1.6/5

Good album all around. Just a great rock project that some of the songs I will be returning too. There is good spectrum of calming rock music to music your 50 year old dad would play while drunk😂. This shit is tuff good ass vocals and amazing instrumentals with their guitars. But my only flaw is some of the songs the vocals can be mad annoying which are usually the higher energy tracks. Fav tracks include Bad Moon Rising, Lodi and Broken Spoke Shuffle. 8.4/10 4.2/5

Portishead has a new fan cuz this was amazing. This is my second electronica album and I enjoyed it a lot more than the first one. This had jazz, pop and hip hop beats involved which I loved. The lead singers voice is mesmerising the way she flows on each track mix d with the mixing of the beats made the perfect songs to listen to. Some favourites include Pedestal, Numb and Glory Box. Once again an amazing album I will find my way back too it 9.7/10 4.8/5

Amnesiac is the fourth Radiohead album I’ve listened too and it’s the worst so far. It wasn’t that bad but there’s nothing that blows my mind just good songs ig. Radiohead trying to be experimental again with the mix of electronic, rock and even jazz made some rly good songs and some pretty mid ones too. Overrall it was pretty good but nothing crazy so a solid 7.6/10 3.8/5

A great album overall. Morrissey has such an amazing voice that reminds me of The Smiths (edit I didn’t realise he was in the smiths) and he uses it perfectly. Had fun listening to this with every song offering something different. Some songs u enjoyed were I Have Forgiven Jesus and The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores. Now I do have to say it has not aged very well with the whole vibe of the project and do feel as if it could’ve been made in the 60s but a great album nonetheless. An 8.4/10 4.2/5

I see the influentialness of this album but it just doesn’t hold up like someone like Aphex Twins. Yes there are some good takeaways but a lot of mid electronic music I could make. A song I did like was HALCYON+ON+ON which was getting me dancing. Other then that overall pretty mid that’s why I give this a 5.4/10 2.7/5

Very interesting album something I haven’t heard before. A mix of blues, rock and hip hop I do appreciate BUT the execution was not all that. I’m not a big fan of their accents in the songs which is a reason that makes it so unique tho. It could’ve been good but it just wasn’t allat for me. Tbh this rly wasn’t for me. I don’t rly like pop music and this definitely resembled Disney musical music. BUT I do have to say the music is not bad but just not my cup of tea. There were some really good highlights on this like Faster and Suite III Overture. But some really low lows. I hate to say it but it is a sub 5 but not by a lot so I’m going to give it a 4.5/10 2.2/5

I feel like this list is very wrong. Top albums to listen to before I die and a lot of them being not that good this is one of them. Now I didn’t dislike it but it was rly nothing and would feel the exact same if I didn’t listen to Pearl. Her voice was quite amazing but then she starts like crying screaming making it hard to listen too. And god help me Mercedes Benz felt like nails on a chalk board. A lot of the songs weren’t bad and even good I must say so this is a solid 5.1/10 2.5/5

Fantastic. Finally an album I enjoy such a good refresher. I didn’t expect much but this blew my mind. Amazing production and so much emotion in this project. A mix of pop and rock I guess with my fav songs being The Suburbs and Half Light I. The only problem I have with it is that it’s way too long with repetitive songs and annoying vocals on a couple of tracks BUT other then that it was great. I’m giving it an 8.5/10 4.2/5

Absolutely loved this. This is my favourite David Bowie album now over Ziggy Stardust. Amazing vocals and production ticking every category to make an album I love. There isn’t really anything I disliked about this project every song was diverse and great. Some favourites were Right, Somebody up There Likes Me and Can You Hear Me all being 10/10 songs. I’m very happy with this and I’m giving it a 9.5 4.7/5

I’m going to be honest I didn’t rly pay attention to this album but had it on in the background and what I head I did like it. Soul music is right up my alley so ofc I liked it. For it coming out in the 60s this is amazing but that doesn’t rly change my opinion on it. There isn’t a lot to it a simple instrumentals and a great singer but it works so well on some songs. Laura has that voice that is able to make you feel something which I loved about this album. My favourite song was Emmie. Yes it wasn’t mind blowing but I still enjoyed it in giving it a solid 6.1/10 3/5

I’ve never listened to Amy Whitehouse ever before and she has the most amazing voices I’ve ever heard. Production was on top as well having mixes of jazz, rock, blues and pop throughout the project. It wasn’t very mind blowing with a lot of similar sounding songs but I don’t think I disliked or felt any other way then positivity the whole time. My favourite songs were October Song and Know You Now. Overall it wasn’t very mind blowing or something I would re listen to but I still enjoyed it so I’m feeling a strong 7.8/10 3.9/5

I’m a Radiohead lover and this one is a lot different to the other 4 I’ve listened too. It’s more focused on rock other than electronic/alt rock genres. Very solid album it wasn’t as mind blowing and “experimental” as a Kid A or Ok Computer but I did enjoy it a lot. Also I feel as if Yorke wasn’t singing as he normally does making him sound less annoying than he normally does. This may have removed some character out of the project as-well though. My favourite songs were Black Star and Fake Plastic Trees. Overall I’m giving this album an 8/10 4/5

I rly wanted to like this but I just didn’t rly. I do appreciate the sound and some stuff like this I like a lot but it just wasn’t THAT good overall. The only problem I rly had was the vocals being annoying but ik it’s supposed to sound like that with the indie alt rock genres. A lot of the guitar riffs I did enjoy and I didn’t overly hate anything but it just was quite middle of the road. My favourite songs were No Bones and Keep The Glove but I did enjoy Don’t a lot aswell. Overall I’m not going to be returning to this at all rly so I’m gonna give it a 5.4/10 2.7/5

I was already a big Al Green fan before coming into this and this has just further pushed my opinion. I love soul music so much and Al had one of the best voices of all time. He’s able to express his feelings so well creating beautiful songs and then also has the ability to create groovy tracks to dance to. This is probably my fav album by him so far because of the reasons I stated. My favourite songs were How Can You Mend a Broken Heart and Judy two amazing, deep songs. Overall I love this I would kill to give this a 5 stars but I just can’t so I’m giving it a 9/10 4.5/5

This is actually the most forgettable album of all time. Nothing was bad just nothing stood out. Alright vocals, alright guitar nothing crazy on hooks just all around mid. The only stand out is the biggest song Everybody Hurts. Nothing rly to say other then mid 5.2/10 2.6/5

I’m going to relisten to this song because I wasn’t fully paying attention but this was a very great listening experience. Insane vocals and instrumental through out the album. This made the hour feel like 20min how much I was enjoying it. I don’t think I will be returning very much but I’m very glad I gave this a listen. 8.8/10 4.4/5

I had very high expectations coming into this album and all I can say I’m pretty disappointed. Don’t get me wrong it was still a great album but nowhere near one of the greatest things I’ve heard. There wasn’t anything that really stood out to me other than maybe the vocals which I’ll give them props too. But also there wasn’t anything I disliked either without just pulling hairs at it. My favourites were Wouldn’t It Be Nice, God Only Knows and Caroline No. Overall I have mixed emotions with some songs being like 6 to a 10 so I’m going to give this 8.6/10 4.3/5

A couple songs in I wasn’t really feeling it. I love soul but not the big symphony upbeat soul if yk what I mean. But gradually the album got sadder and more chilled out. I absolutely loved this idea turning you from happy and dancy to in your feels. Now I do have to discredit the upbeat songs still not being my favourite but cmon I can somewhat get into it. My favourite songs were Am I Blue and Just for a Thrill. Overall great album and would listen again so I’m feeling a calm 8.2/10 4.1/5

I only knew Boston before this because of their stupid name but first song in I’ve heard that song a million times and it was brilliant. But after that it sorta declined and most songs were just alright. Here and there there were great moments throughout but just mostly stuff I’ve already heard done before. I didn’t love it but I did enjoy this project with it only being like 35 minutes. My favourite song was the hit song More Than A Feeling ofc. Overall I enjoyed this album but it wasn’t amazing so I’m feeling a 7.8/10 3.9/5

I am so glad I heard this, such a great listen. Now it’s one of those albums I feel like you have to listen to x10 before you get it and it’s more of an experience than picking songs to add to your playlist type album. Now even though I enjoyed this so much most songs were borderline terrible but that’s the point with it being so experimental and just noisy. 100% deserves to be on this list and I’m very glad I listened to it with my favourite song being the first one Sweat Loaf and 22 going on 23. I’m not going to excuse it being a good listen for it being terrible but that’s why it’s not a 1/5. This doesn’t deserve to be put with the other 2/5 albums because how much I loved and I hope I can boost it higher but for now this is getting a 4.7/10 2.3/5

Jesus I just wasted an hour I’ll never get back. I’m not a metal fan at all so I was scared going into this but I found myself handling it and even enjoying some songs. But after the first 4 songs it just dragged on with songs that all sound the exact same. So boring. I also hated the vocals in this I can be a fan of some metal vocals but these one were just talentless and hard to listen to. I’m never returning to this again one word to describe this “boring”. Does it deserve to be on this list maybe but I disliked this a lot and overall giving it a 3.9/10 1.9/5
