Sound Affects
The JamGood. It is, in fact, a jam.
Good. It is, in fact, a jam.
This album was probably mind-blowing in 1970. In 2025, it's still really solid. Neil Young's voice takes some getting used to. Great guitar solos. Really enjoyed "Don't Let It Bring You Down" and "When You Dance I Can Really Love."
4/5? Great prog album. Enjoyed the wailing.
5/5. No misses.
I didn't know this was from 1970. No wonder people lost their minds. An all-time classic.
This is punk, for sure. Too noisy for me, but I see how it broke new ground.
Classic. Impossible to overstate her impact on 90s music and modern stuff.
Always a good listen. Big fan.
I can see why people like it, the sound just isn't for me. Only made it about halfway through, to be fair.
What's not to like from George Harrison?
Incredible album that sounds as good as the day it dropped. Everyone loves Mr. Brightside.
No skips, no misses, no slow-down in the momentum as the album plays. Stellar.
Wonderfully weird.
Pretty good, pretty groovy. Didn't quite blow me away.
It was okay. Maybe I'm missing some context? Reminds me of the Smashing Pumpkins.
I get the impact and like the sound for a few songs, but this album isn't for me.
This should be required listening before you can be exposed to Hamilton. You can hear this sound echo through nearly every rap album that's come out since.
This was probably incredible in 2002, but now I'm tired of Coldplay. Not really their fault. Still a good album overall.
The sound of the 90s. All bangers.
Excellent album - and the impact is obvious.
Good and jazzy, but not for me. A little too much of the same sound throughout the album.
Good, theatrical pop. Very dynamic and a little weird.
I think I've been hearing his influence my whole life without really knowing it. Great album.
I see the impact, even if this isn't fully to my tastes.
Solid dance album
Excellent prog. Great dynamics. An unexpected aural experience.
I understand the impact, but this wasn't quite for me.
It's Bowie, but not my favorite album of his.
I don't speak French but I know when an album slaps. Great mix of instruments.
Great album - because of the production. If Beyonce can do 2 things, it's sing and choose incredible producers.
It was good. Reminds me of a lot of things. But I'd rather listen to Daft Punk.
Solid, but nothing stood out to me. Good listen among all the other desert rock, but doesn't hit as hard as The Byrds or others do.
Great album, just like everyone says. Not my favorite of theirs, but Rumors is tough to beat.
It's the Clash, of course it's good.
Pretty good, but nothing that blew me away. Nice folk pop from the 70s with some great traditional music details incorporated.
Not a fan, but someone probably is.
Good. It is, in fact, a jam.
Even better than I'd always heard.
I knew Blister in the Sun, but not this album. It's a much different sound - and a great one.
It might be technically good, but I dont really know, and I did not like it.
It's a fine album, but far from life-changing. I'm a bit confused by it's inclusion.
