Before: Never been a big fan of Nick Cave. Find him pretentious and the music never really grabbed me. After: yeah it’s pretentious. Some of the music and production is cool.

Why is the bass so farty? Some great hooks.

Holy shit! I always thought these guys were metal or something adjacent, but they’re more post-punk/industrial. I really dig it. “Requiem” is so good. Will be looking into more albums of theirs.

Another Bowie/Eno masterpiece.
