I really enjoyed the instrumentals at the end
Decent. They have that one song
Incredible album. Is this the best debut album of any band ever?
Not my favorite metal band but metal nonetheless. Two big songs on this album.
I knew two of the songs but listening to the album gave me a new appreciation for Light My Fire. Alabama Song was also a fun one.
All songs kinda sounded the same. Knew smooth operator.
I can appreciate how good this album is but it's not really my thing.
I like the stereo mixing (drums in one ear).
Very unique sound and it isn't repetitive like some of the other albums I've listened to.
Not for me. I don't really like the sing songy rap style.
Better than the other Bowie album but still not quite 4 star worthy.
As far as rap albums go, this one is pretty good. I recognized a few songs. ODB is my favorite.
The instrumentals were never boring.
Sabotage is a banger but I surprisingly didn't like most of the other songs. I liked the instrumentals though.
Is that double kick in Dawn Of The Dreads??
I feel like I'm so brainwashed by Western music that I can't truly appreciate this.
Summer vibes. I like the weird synths. Go West melody sounds really familiar.
I enjoyed it but it wasn't anything special.
Not bad for a rap album. Crazy this album came out on 9/11
I like the bells on some of the songs and the snare tone. It has a song from Skrek. Borderline 4 star but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
Uninspiring. Found it kind of boring.
I skipped the talking parts. Those are some impressively high trumpet notes in Part I. I enjoyed the Skin Deep drum solos. Riot Prevention is a clever name.
I like the nylon-string guitar and muted trumpet.
His voice sounds like he's doing a bad Bowie impression but it kind of works?
Knew more songs than I thought. Good vocal harmonies.
Not a fan of the singing style but I liked the instruments used. Some songs had that same old school electric guitar tone like the solo in I Want To Break Free by Queen.
I like how loud the bass is and the stereo sound. I didn't realize In The Ghetto was an Elvis song and not just something made up for South Park ๐
It was good. I like the clash but I feel like the vocals are better on Combat Rock. The vocals on this album were classic UK punk style.
I liked when he said glockenspiel. Just as it started to get boring, it would switch up. Last song sounds like a SpongeBob song.
Another album where you can actually hear the bass, unlike a lot of modern music. Am I crazy or does the part of Sunrise at 1:22 sound like pinball wizard?
I really like her voice. Reminds me of Willow.
Different which is nice but I don't like his voice.
Kinda boring. He Doesn't Know Why has the same chord progression as Tell Me Baby by RHCP?
The first song made me uncomfortable but once I knew what their whole deal was, I got slightly more used to it. I like avante garde metal so I thought I'd like this a little more. The kazoo works well with the vibe though. Not for me but I respect the originality.
Nice kick drum tone. Reminds me of they might be giants but with more ambience.
The Duchess was very interesting. Kinda like mellow goblin metal. I enjoyed the different instruments. Very unique
Not really my thing but it was relaxing
Knew the first song from some commercial. Pretty good overall. Good instrumentals.
Not bad for a hip hop album. I liked the guitar solo on that one song.
Knew superstition. Fine album overall
I had heard Born in the USA, Glory days, and Dancing in the dark before. I don't love Bruce Springsteen but this album was okay.
Wasn't familiar with the who's game. Young Man Blues is a killer rock song. Very clear bass throughout the album.
Kind of boring. Steamroller and Suite for 20 G were decent.
Weird music but not the good kind.
Decent but only 1 of the 6 songs I know by them is on this album.
Sugar Moon has SpongeBob vibes. She has a good voice.
Not a fan of the British punk voice. Especially the annunciation on I Wanna Sleep With You. Sounds like the singer from IDLES
Feels shoegazey with some ska influence. It also has hints of MCR. I had heard Where Is My Mind already
It was okay. I liked the brass instruments but I don't love Bowie.
I knew Kill you, Stan, and The real slim shady. First half was good. Now that I'm older I realize how immature Eminem sounds. I still like him over other rappers because of his energy though.
I knew the first three songs and legs. The guitar is very simple but has really good feel it fits perfectly with the music.
Didn't like his voice or his screaming.
Really good and unique. Just the right amount of vocals for this genre.
I really liked the vocals on save the children. The whole album has a gospel feel. I always enjoy a good saxophone too.
I knew Somebody to love. I like the female vocalist. I liked the In the morning guitar solo. I liked the bass on Come back baby.
I liked the space vibes on the first song. I was giving with it at first but it felt repetitive after a while. The shortest song (Quality Seconds) is one of the best and also aptly named.
Not my favorite genre but this album was really well done. I like the weird instrument in Junie.
It was fine I liked the vocal harmonies. I also like the guy's voice a little more. Their singing style kind of reminds me of how priests sing.
I'd give this 3.5 stars if I could but I guess I'll round up. Nice guitar tone.
It was okay. I knew We Got The Beat
It doesn't get much more classic blues than this. What kind of guitar is that at the end of Jealous Hearted Man? It reminds me of the one in Train Kept Rollin by Aerosmith.
Sympathy for the devil is a fantastic song but I didn't love the rest of the album. Street fighting man sounded familiar.
I knew the first four songs plus Jamie's Crying. The guitar speaks for itself and the drumming is solid as well.
I don't know how I feel about the vocals. It fits the vibe though. Temptation of Egg was a good kind of weird. The singing style in Raw reminds me of vampire by Olivia Rodrigo. Didn't listen to the remix or bonus tracks.
This may be a sin to say, but I don't really like her voice or the genre.
I don't like her voice and the music made me anxious.
5th season was pretty good. I also liked the guitar solo on shadow of the sun.
Good album overall. The lyrics feel kind of sappy but maybe that's just what music was like in this decade.
Really good album. Knew wonderwall, don't look back in anger, and champagne supernova.
I enjoyed this a lot overall. Don't tell me your troubles sounds like the songs they do at the end of whose line is it anyway.
Less than zero sounds like glory days by Bruce Springsteen. I had heard Red Shoes before.
Very dissonant. A little unnerving.
Not for me. I don't like his voice and the featured artists aren't any better.
Good album overall but some of the vocals felt a little whiny.
Red hot chilli peppers vibes. Interlude was very relaxing.
I knew Money For Nothing and Walk Of Life. Great intros on those songs.
Had heard let's get it on. I don't know how I feel about the weird drum they use in Come Get To This.
It was okay. I don't love his voice but it wasn't bad enough to give the album a 2.
Different but still pretty melodic and not as "off sounding" from the western music model as other Eastern albums I've listened to. Wasn't a fan of the shouting style in Naag Devta though.
I really liked the guitar. Knew Purple Rain.
Fun album. Different but still easy listening. Didn't realize this band sang the original Valerie.
Normally with this type of music, I feel like the vocals are what make it the hardest for me to digest. So the fact that this was all instrumental made it more enjoyable for me. I like the weird water drop noise on Raga (Desh). Overall relaxing. I feel like this would normally get a 3 but I'm in a good mood today so this is getting 4 stars.
I like his voice. Different than what I thought their other songs would sound like based on Creep. Had heard High and Dry before.
Didn't really do anything for me. Some unique instruments though. I skipped through some of Universal Mind Decoder - Alternative Backing Track.
Fine overall. I knew My Generation. I liked the drumming on The Ox.
I haven't seen the movie that this soundtrack is for but it definitely gives some spy movie vibes especially with the guitar in Give Me Your Love.
I liked the guitar solo on Prove It All Night.
It was fine. Nothing special.
I was familiar with the song One because of Shinedown's cover and I had heard mysterious ways as well before. I liked Acrobat.
I had heard For Free, King Kunta, and All Right before. Those songs were played at parties I went to. Overall it was pretty good for a rap album.
Knew the first song from a commercial. Fine overall.
It was cool at first but got old after a while.
They love their double clap on 4. Why does the belting on the last song sound out of key?
