Classic 80s sound in parts but I was surprised that some of this album felt really fresh and unique. Definitely would listen again.

Good folk but not standout or memorable for me I fear

I've never listened to this in full before and though there are def parts not appropriate for the cafe (a la experimental piano break), there's complexity and catchiness aplenty on this album which means I'll be back for sure. Even better on the 2nd and 3rd listen which is fun!

This album, for me, is her best. It makes me remember how much I love to sing! Production is kind of flawless - the recognition that Adele's voice pierces through really grand and dramatic production but performs equally well (if not better) with a stripped back and simple instrumental! I love it!!

Some bangers but feels very of the time it was made

Variation of vibes on this album with some songs I would defo go back to (those on the chiller side). Not quite mind-blowing, but a fun listen

eclectic crazy goofy weird. i liked it, esp the acid, there were a couple of standout bits. glad to have come across this album (wouldnt have otherwise) and look forward to returning to it

some funky dunky hippity hoppity music but aside from a few standouts im unlikely to revisit

simply extraordinary and also deeply nostalgic. the way they blend rhythm and blues, reggae, ska, rock and roll, and all their other influences is 2nd to none

quite peculiar and moogy and transported me to many different places. not sure its my bag tho i did enjoy some of it

theres some real bangers on here but idrk why its so long. if it was trimmed a bit i prob would give it a 5 but still a valuable album in my collection

some of this album is really very good. nonetheless, 3

i really like some of the more introspective moments on this album, some surprising freshness for a pop album (Gone has got some real trip-hop vibes, Amazing is giving proto-hyper pop).

wish i could give it 3.5 - maybe on this occasion i will round up

bit of fun but repetitive and lacked something that really stood out to me

technically, this is great, but gosh sitting and listening to the whole thing is a little dull and repetitive. maybe also a shame because I knew the best songs on the album already, but I'm rounding UP to a three this time

obviously biased as everything is but i love this album. hearing some of its songs at wembley was a highlight of my life

smooth and cool and super slinky. maybe its overexposure to the genre but didnt stand out to me or g massively

original short attention span music...? I liked a few songs especially bc it was reminiscent of the clash, but crucially, the clash were more versatile. this just about grasps a 3

could have rounded up to 4, but for me, a firm 3.5

songwriting mastery, musical architecture, texture, grandeur, and evidence of george michael's brilliance. i only wish that there was a bit more sonic variety but very good. #queer excellence

i knew i loved al green but sitting and listening to this, wow, it was just phenomenal

really liked much of this, electronic dreamscape vibes, reminiscent of cocteau twins with velvetier vocals. tbc i am rounding UP from a 3.5

the price, for me, is not right. though i'd like a little bit of this here and there, the album is far too homogenous for me and not much stands out

essential reggae listening, but not sure i would relisten all the way through bc it leans towards lovers rock still at times. love tho

lost most of my interest after hearing gratuitous use of the n word! also, it should have been half as long. despite these things, there was some of it that i enjoyed.
