Is it fair to be underwhelmed? Maybe I just don’t get it. Enjoyed pusher man and a number of other tracks, but I think I just don’t need a full album of funk / souls very often.

Idk why albums need to be this long, but this one is great. Enjoyed most of it but too long.

How many guitar solos does one album need? Honestly, give me the hits from this bad boy (and there’s a lot of them!) and nothing in between. What an album to knit to.

Wikipedia tells me this is an album filled with innovation and creativity. It didn’t capture me much. Seemed like it was more derivative than transformative.

I can’t say Bob Dylan really deserves the Nobel prize for his lyrics (how many times can you rhyme “done” with highway 61?) every second of this album is enjoyable and is probably the first one on this list that you really should listen to before you die.

The prisoners are the stars of the show.

Found the whole thing to be surprisingly boring. Do people like Foo Fighters this much? Maybe you had to be there idk

I don’t get live albums. Part of my ratings are based around “would I return back to this?” And I can’t imagine listening to this again. It feels like I need to have some chemical assistance and a vibe to enjoy this.

A bunch of weirdos who can string together a tune. Not my favorite Talking Heads, but certainly an awesome album

I love the joy and simple purpose of each groove. A deceptively simple album. Enjoyable, joyful, fun. Harder to pull off than it seems. A few songs drag a bit for me, but otherwise dug it.

This album is not made for a 35 year old white man, but there were moments I actually enjoyed a lot. This soft, focused production style isn’t something I really return too, but is clearly intentional and makes for an interesting comparison point.

This album is about taking drugs and vibing in a late 90’s club in Berlin. That’s great

I liked a lot of this but the preacher sitting backwards on his chair vibe kind of killed the momentum to higher rating.

These guys are so far up their own ass and it's a shame because every once in awhile you get an awesome, thoughtful song and then you get a bunch of ambient synth and guitar.
