My friend made fun of me for listening to daft punk on a casual Tuesday night. I had fun.

I had to google this album because I thought it was show tunes. I don’t even really know what show tunes are, but I think they’re like this. Did not like.

This was my first experience with Rush. Not what I was expecting based on my perception of Rush stans.

Just not my thing.

My favorite Elvis Costello song is Allison. It’s not on this album, but these songs were fine.

I haven’t read the reviews here for this album yet, but I feel like people don’t talk about how spooky this album is. I love it. It’s uncomfortable and haunting and relatable in ways you wish it wasn’t. The music video for Comfortably Numb has fucked with me since I was a kid. It’s also my favorite song on the album.

There’s a time and place for this album. It just wasn’t today with me.

The symphony stuff kind of threw me for a loop but I liked it.

I know this is good music but it’s just a little boring to me. I do love a sassy sax, though.

This is how I imagine this album came to be: some ex-convicts, mechanics, and maybe a couple gangsters got together and started telling all their secrets and they made whatever was laying around in the garage their instruments. Absolutely wacky and delightful.

This isn’t my favorite Velvet Underground album, but The Velvet Underground is one of my faves. Love love love Sunday Morning and Femme Fatale.

Obsessed with this album. Cripple Creek is the song that influenced me to buy a jaw harp.

My dad was at my house on this day and he said he remembers listening to this album on his Walkman after losing his last football game ever.

I don’t remember this album being so dark.
