1001 Albums Summary

Other than Give Up The Funk I was completely unfamiliar with this since it’s a genre I don’t really listen to much. I had a great time with this and enjoyed every song. Such a fun vibe!!!

Absolute banger holy shit I’ve heard a few of the songs on here before but I’ve never listened to the album all the way through until now and I had a great time

One or two songs weren’t for me but most of this album is great!! I love the general vibe, even if it was a song I didn’t enjoy as much

Hell yeah this album is such a banger there’s a reason it’s one of the best of all time

The whores hustle and the hustlers whore, kamikaze, and this is love were AWESOME!!!! I like the vibe of the album and the guitar is generally pretty great, my only qualm is the singer’s voice just isn’t my absolute favorite but that didn’t keep me from enjoying the album. Also thom yorke features!!

I knew some songs from this album before listening now but a lot of it was new-ish to me!! Absolute banger of course Fave of stuff that was new-ish to me was easily

Loved this one!! One song I wasn’t a huge fan of which coincidentally is according to Google their most well known song so lol. The vocals at times weren’t my favorite but mostly were great and I LOVED the instrumentals!! Added a few of the songs to my main playlist

Some of her music just isn’t my personal taste but I really loved a few songs on this album. It was just very up and down for me with songs I’d either be fine not hearing again and ones I’d love to revisit. That is just my personal taste in music speaking though so I still wanna rate this 4 stars because her vocals are INSANE and it just feels like a very cohesive and great album especially being released posthumously

This one was tough. I didn’t realize beforehand this was one of his albums that was a bit more country influenced than what I have previously heard for him and I was thrown off by that for sure. I enjoyed some songs, but a lot of the album I still felt like there was just SOMETHING missing for me like it was almost what I was wanting to hear but instead was left with a bit of disappointment. I liked most of the lyrics and I like beck’s voice though at least. Maybe I’d like this more in the future on a relisten but idk
