Popular Reviews

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees

Definitely rock but girl rock so extra star. Genuinely enjoyed listening to this. Would listen again tho it was a bit too much rock for too long to do the whole album. Still enjoyed

Moon Safari by Air
Feb 02 2026

Chill brother chill. Vibey funky beats. Electronic but easy with it. Could see it in an oceans 11 movie. Saved 3 songs from the album

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Feb 04 2026

Bleh. A slog. Saved one song mainly to make listening to the album worth it.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Feb 06 2026

Who knew would listen to the dance till your dead song today. Mostly listened to on the bike so i feel like i should give it another listen in a quieter atmosphere but some fun beats!

Nevermind by Nirvana
Feb 09 2026

Ive got too many memories attached to this album not to give it 5 stars. Listening to it with dad on the way to the climbing gym, being an angsty teen with lulu when we first met, rocking out when you need something to scream. Feels like an aggressive hug.

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Feb 10 2026

the weight always has a special place in my heart. Saved two other songs. Overall was find tho

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Feb 11 2026

hard core rock. felt kind of repetitive but i listened to it on the plane so maybe i didn't experience the whole range of the songs well enough.

Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Feb 12 2026

Funky

Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Feb 13 2026

I feel like i could have a crazy one person dance party to this. Would go hard in a club if i was drunk and willing to bop around. The reviews did not lie tho - this guy picks one line and repeats that shit till the song is over. The beat is pretty repetitive as well which makes for good dance music but perhaps not good listening music.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Feb 16 2026
Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 17 2026

Always a pleasure to listen to bruce boy and it was a treat to listen to one of his albums all the way through.

Gold by Ryan Adams
Feb 18 2026
American Idiot by Green Day
Feb 19 2026

takes me back to the good old days. so many memories associated with this album. one reviewer said 'green day makes music that encapsulates how it feels to be a teenager' and i think those are wise words

Blood, Sweat & Tears by Blood, Sweat & Tears
Feb 20 2026

so confusing. some of this was quite good and then some was just a flute making weird notes for like three minutes. why are like so many of these songs 12 minutes long and half of it is weird experimental jazz. perhaps they are the ones who revolutionized experimental jazz who knows. i did enjoy the song 'and when i die' though

The Doors by The Doors
Mar 02 2026

classic band classic album! a bit repetitive perhaps but still one of the greats for a reason

That's The Way Of The World by Earth, Wind & Fire
Mar 04 2026

Bring on the funk! A treat! Perhaps a bit too funky if possible at times but definitely worth a re listen

Mar 05 2026

That man in just not a good singer. Synth pop grungy music that didnt quite hit with me i was mainly waiting for it to be over. But! Did get to listen to tainted love

Bitte Orca by Dirty Projectors
Mar 06 2026

Odd but ultimately i enjoyed it! The beat felt a bit strange and there were definitely some weird stuff going but i feel like they pulled it off for me in the end. Saved one song

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Mar 09 2026

Gonna be honest didnt actually finish this one (yet) the first couple of songs were good but my god there comes a time that they all just start to sound the same. Confused also why this album is on this list when i think its mainly covers

2112 by Rush
Mar 10 2026

ehh prog rock. not personally my fave but i could see theoretically why ppl get down to this

Stankonia by OutKast
Mar 12 2026

Cant go wrong with OutKast. A pleasure to listen to one of their albums all the way through, should try it again honestly

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Mar 13 2026

Really liked this actually. It had a grungy rock kind of crooning feel. Saved two songs. Would probably listen to again.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Mar 16 2026

I love Stevie Wonder. I don't even need to listen to the album to know this gets a 5 from me. I liked the other album I've listened of his a bit better, but this one still rocked. Saved a song, but would go and listen to the album in general again.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Mar 17 2026

Was surprised about how much I liked this. They had some good songs with some good lyrics. Unfort they did say the f slur a lot in one song but ehh it did go with the message lol. Eminem has said a lot worse and i hate that guy a lot more. I definitely recognized a couple of songs off the album that I've heard before which is always cool. I think I saved three songs. I'll knock one star just cause saying slurs isn't the best and also some of it felt a bit repetitive.

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Mar 18 2026

eh it was fine! good instrumentals I think I saved like two songs. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed listening to it, but a bit confused why it was on this list, it felt pretty basic to me.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Mar 19 2026

i was hyped to listen to this cause ive heard great things about arcade fire but honestly. did not live up to it. maybe ill try listening again but it just sounded like background music - easily ignored.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Mar 23 2026

honestly hated my last radiohead album so was NOT looking forward to this esp to get two radiohead albums in a row (why are there so many radiohead albums. surely we could've picked another influential artist instead of another radiohead album). but. i will admit i did not hate this one. it was pretty good actually i would maybe listen to it again if i was really starved for content.

Mar 24 2026

im becoming increasingly aware that prog rock is just not my jam. but overall a pretty good album. I liked the first song on the track a lot.

Two Dancers by Wild Beasts
Mar 25 2026

I did not like that. The singers voice was high pitched and annoying. The instrumentals were alright but the singer drowned out any enjoyment and he sang. All. The. Time.

Elephant Mountain by The Youngbloods
Mar 26 2026

I liked this one. it was a fun mix of rock and banjos and blues. i liked it best when that guy wasn't singing but what can you do. would probably relisten

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Mar 27 2026

I've never listened to a complete rolling stones album, or to be honest very much of any rolling stones music. I thought they were a rock band but this was very much a country, banjo, bluesy kind of vibe. It felt like something I'd hear blasting from the speakers as a kid. A hootin time.

All Directions by The Temptations
Mar 30 2026

Wow what a joy to listen to! Funky blues with a good beat from start to finish. I think i saved most of the songs from this quick listen album. Would definitely listen again. Would definitely listen to more of this bands albums!

The Bends by Radiohead
Mar 31 2026

I swear to god radioheads complete discography must be in this list. However, this album did actually slap, I will give them that. I would relisten. I don't think I actually saved that many songs mainly cause I was just vibing with the whole thing. Still, I can only hope I've seen my last radiohead album, it pisses me off every time i see i have one

Penthouse And Pavement by Heaven 17
Apr 01 2026

didn't finish :/ at a certain point it truly sounded the same which was meh.

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Apr 02 2026

Straight soulful jazz vibes. Saved a banger of a song but hot and buttered is how my soul felt afterwards

White Light by Gene Clark
Apr 03 2026

inoffensive country album. nothing wrong but nothing particularly special.

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Apr 06 2026

you just know this would've ate live. a hootin and hollerin good time.

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Apr 07 2026

What fun! Very different and unique but in a fun way - i like the velvet underground hope to listen to more of their albums

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Apr 14 2026

It's beyonce what more can you say. I do think I have to say that I enjoyed her other, more recent albums more, but it's possible I just missed the window of nostalgia on this particular one. It was good cause it's beyonce but I wasn't like jazzed to listen to it. Sorry Beyonce.

Apr 15 2026

devastatingly rated the "a grand don't come for free" with what was supposed to be this review. THIS ONE is the new wave 80s. I guess I'll just switch them. "a grand dont come for free sound get a 1 or perhaps a 2 - white british rapper just...talking a bit off beat. not good.

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah
Apr 17 2026

this was fun. classic 90s rap. i like classic 90s rap. thank you website for showing me that i like classic 90s rap. think i saved 3 songs

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Apr 20 2026

LCD Soundsystem! One of those albums I'm excited to listen to before the first track plays. It was a good listen too! I think I saved 3 songs. Honestly, I want to go and listen to more of their albums now. Was in phenom? No, but still a good time.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Apr 21 2026

Experimental jazz indeed. It certainly inspired emotions, mainly fear and anticipation for it to be over. Still a fun listen for its uniqueness if nothing else

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Apr 28 2026

What a fucking ride. Loved this! Definitely want to give it another listen, preferably somewhere i can dance my little heart out

Survivor by Destiny's Child
Apr 30 2026

Hey its destinys child. You just cant be mad about listening to the club bops from the 2010s on a random tuesday

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
May 01 2026

Definitely rock but girl rock so extra star. Genuinely enjoyed listening to this. Would listen again tho it was a bit too much rock for too long to do the whole album. Still enjoyed

Hotel California by Eagles
May 05 2026

eh acceptable. hotel california is a classic for a reason. you can see why dads love the eagles. but perhaps i am not that dad just yet. give me 20 years and maybe it'll be my time.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
May 08 2026

looooooooooove janelle monae. what a fun time. great gym music.
