Really Good Big Band. I haven’t heard much Basie, and it’s not a genre I listen to that often, but this is a really solid record
Robot music isn't something I go back to but I can appreciate the originality and influence that the band had. It's very creative
One of the greatest live/ blues albums of all time
Such a beautiful and complex record. Some of my all time favorite song writing.
one of my favorite albums of all time. A Soundtrack to my youth.
Although this album isn't right in my wheelhouse, I never really gave it fair shot. After a drive listening I do understand why an angsty younger listener would find this music lethargic. Chester definitely writes in away that makes you feel like your not alone in these thoughts. The singles are still the best songs in my opinion, In the End does hit hard when you are struggling.
Not my Favorite REM album but I was a little younger to fully appreciate it when it was released. It's such an important part of the New Age/ Alt movement.
I’m down with anything members of CSNY do. I had never heard this whole album and it’s really good. Def a green record
Peak Bowie. Just on another level as always. Nothing has been the same since he left us.
You can’t go wrong with Frank. Probably my favorite of his studio albums
V: I've owned this album for a while. Such a great Acoustic and a voice record. When I need to chill this is one I put on.
Really like nothing I’ve ever heard. Going to dig deeper
It’s a decent record but the singles are what stand out. I’d be more of a greatest hits Steely fan
Just pure Rock power. one of the greatest bands to ever do it. Brian's Tone, Freddy's voice, the operatic sound. And Stone Cold Crazy is one of the greatest rock songs of all time.
(V) My favorite hip-hop artist of all time. Second favorite album by Pac. Post 5 shots Pac was a different animal
Such a great Hip Hop record. Timberland, The Brat, Busta, pure 90s goodness
What an amazing voice. So much soul. Great album, mostly covers
This is a brilliant record that I hadn’t heard before. I have some Smiths records and have heard some solo stuff, but not this album. It’s amazing how many shitty people can make such great music.
one of the best Jay-Z records. Hip Hop classic
It’s Janis. Classic record
Great 90s sound. Hadn’t heard the whole album before
It’s not my jam, but I get it. Decent writing for sure.
A voice that can heal. Such a gift
I had never heard this record. Pure 80s sound. I dig it but I’m not sure I can go full 4
I can appreciate this music, but it’s just not something I’d personally put on.
I appreciate and respect the Police, but have never been a big fan. The singles make this record for me.
(V) such a beautiful record. Joni is an all time Legend.
(V) One of my favorite albums of all time. Biblical Mon.
I really enjoy this record. I have a couple of B and S records but this might be my fav I’ve heard.
Just a beautiful Blues Record. I can just get lost in this sound. His Voice is so comforting. Makes me want to close my eyes and get lost.
(V) I mean, it’s Bowie. Great record
I had never heard her work, and I really dig it. Good walking and thinking sounds.
First time checking him out, though I’ve wanted to for a while. Very 60s flower pop
I had never heard this record somehow. The US version in much better with Paint it Black on it. Going 4 just cause it’s the Stones
Shoegaze at its finest. Solid record
Another good album but not on the level of Pink Moon IMO
Great record for the times you want to hear a great band.
I had never heard him before. Very cool and funky at times. Chill 70s. A little ahead of his time
(V) Brilliant songwriting and I feel so lucky to have seen him live
She’s sort of under my radar other than hits. Beautiful album
One of the greatest hip hop records ever. I still can’t put it as high as ‘91 or A Nation of Millions
One of those records that you see the cover all the time and know it’s important, but you just have never heard it. I do dig it, very funky and will give it another spin
Dont hurt my Sister. I wish God would have heard this. He’s an asshole
Such an incredible voice. I hadn't heard a lot of these tunes.
(CD) Good album. Hadn't listened to it in a while. Average compared to great Wilco records
(CD) This album just fucks. That's it. Simple and doesn't need to be anything more. Lyrics are silly, sometimes crazy, sometimes genius. Vern is all over it. The simple mix CD artwork is classic. I didn't want to give it a 5 but I just might have to. It's not Dark Fantasy, but it's in the same HOA
Seen the cover a thousand times but for some reason never played it. Interesting music for its time. Just not for me. It sounds like the soundtrack of a cult film
(V) amazing early 00s album. Part of the culture in that time period
He’s a one of one. I dig this
(V) One of the greatest albums of all time. Wish I could say something more profound
I can’t fathom what it must have felt like to hear this for the first time in 1980. I’ve heard Maiden records but not this first one. Phantom was a stand out for me. Unreal
I really dig this. All new to me
It’s so fun and a throwback to a special time. Thing called Love is such a Jam
All time classic. Great songwriter and part of a magical time
I had heard the other albums but not this one. I really dig it. A couple of tunes will go on playlists for sure
(V) One of my favorite albums of all time. Bought it heading home from a Wave game with Steph and Pam and Price.
Had never heard the band or album. I enjoy it
(V) Such an amazing record, and it almost never happened
Couldn’t really get into it, but that might just be me
It’s the Cure. So of course it’s good ♥️
(CD) one of the best live albums of all time.
I had never heard this record. I actually like it more than the more popular records
Wow. Funk me. Never heard this record but it’s probably my favorite so far of all the ones that are new.
(V) One of my favorite Wilco records.
My Ex would play this album at high volume when she was upset with me. So I didn’t give it a fair shot for years. It’s fuckin brilliant
Decent 80s new waveish musak
(V) One of my favorite records in the past 15ish years.
It took me a while to get into the Heads. Now I’m all bout it
Never heard this band. Decent 70s Hard Rock
Average early 2000 British band. Nothing special
Not my fav Who album but good
