Popular Reviews

One World by John Martyn

I had never heard him before. Very cool and funky at times. Chill 70s. A little ahead of his time

All Ratings (83)

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Feb 02 2026

Really Good Big Band. I haven’t heard much Basie, and it’s not a genre I listen to that often, but this is a really solid record

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Feb 03 2026

Robot music isn't something I go back to but I can appreciate the originality and influence that the band had. It's very creative

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Feb 04 2026

One of the greatest live/ blues albums of all time

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 05 2026

Such a beautiful and complex record. Some of my all time favorite song writing.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Feb 06 2026

one of my favorite albums of all time. A Soundtrack to my youth.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Feb 07 2026

Although this album isn't right in my wheelhouse, I never really gave it fair shot. After a drive listening I do understand why an angsty younger listener would find this music lethargic. Chester definitely writes in away that makes you feel like your not alone in these thoughts. The singles are still the best songs in my opinion, In the End does hit hard when you are struggling.

Murmur by R.E.M.
Feb 07 2026

Not my Favorite REM album but I was a little younger to fully appreciate it when it was released. It's such an important part of the New Age/ Alt movement.

Feb 08 2026

I’m down with anything members of CSNY do. I had never heard this whole album and it’s really good. Def a green record

Feb 12 2026

Really like nothing I’ve ever heard. Going to dig deeper

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Feb 13 2026

It’s a decent record but the singles are what stand out. I’d be more of a greatest hits Steely fan

Feb 14 2026

Just pure Rock power. one of the greatest bands to ever do it. Brian's Tone, Freddy's voice, the operatic sound. And Stone Cold Crazy is one of the greatest rock songs of all time.

Mar 14 2026

One of the greatest hip hop records ever. I still can’t put it as high as ‘91 or A Nation of Millions

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Mar 15 2026

One of those records that you see the cover all the time and know it’s important, but you just have never heard it. I do dig it, very funky and will give it another spin

Mar 19 2026

(CD) This album just fucks. That's it. Simple and doesn't need to be anything more. Lyrics are silly, sometimes crazy, sometimes genius. Vern is all over it. The simple mix CD artwork is classic. I didn't want to give it a 5 but I just might have to. It's not Dark Fantasy, but it's in the same HOA
