1001 Albums Summary

I respect Missy Elliott very much, but don't really vibe with her music

I hate to say this, but I found this album a bit boring... I feel like this is not going to be a popular opinion

Not my style

Was a bit sceptical at first but kind of got into the groove. Still not something I would listen to on my own account

What a treat! I knew some songs but not the whole album, really like it. Listened to the whole thing twice

I kept thinking "is this a joke?" while listening to this. 2 instead of 1 stars cause I appreciate the funky instruments

Did not enjoy this, but it seemed well made. Just a matter of taste

I did not knoe David Bowie made this kind music at some point (Sven was shocked that I didn't). Not my personal favorite, but interesting!

Not what I'd normally normally listen to but also wouldn't change radio station when it comes on. And you can hear how this influenced a lot of follow up music

Really nice album! Some songs like big brother sounded very non stevie wonder like (for someone who knows mostly you are the sunshine of my life of him^^) but very enoyable

I respect the innovation and high value production of this, but I also found the album a little bit boring. I did really enjoy the singing in "she is out of my world"

After Baby one more time I thought it wasn't that bad, but this album drags on forever!

I would have liked each song better if it was just half the length. But overall I thought this was very fun to listen to, I actually had to laugh a couple of times, but sometimes had to cringe a bit for inappropriate lyrics

I like the activism aspect of this. I think the music is a bit monotonic but I guess that's just the style of JC
