Hot Fuss by The Killers
May 27 2026

Enjoyable. A few bangers but not my favorite through-and-through

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
Jun 04 2026

Really fun album IMO. Not one i'd come back to all the time but enjoyable all the way through.

Spiderland by Slint
Jun 05 2026

Kinda funky. Didn't hate it but it's weird

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Jun 08 2026

Disk 1 is a clear cut 5/5. But it's over 2 hours long and the backside is kinda weird. Will come back for Disk 1 for sure tho

A Date With The Everly Brothers by The Everly Brothers
Jun 10 2026

Enjoyable but kinda vanilla. I do tend to enjoy harmonization, which is a staple in this album. Fun to see what helped lead to Beatles / Simon + Garfunkel, hard to decide between 3 and 4 stars here… leaning 3

69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields
Jun 11 2026

Literally 69 love songs and they’re ass. Got through 22/69

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Jun 18 2026

- A bit on the grungier side for my taste, but pretty good, low 3.

Meat Puppets II by Meat Puppets
Jun 19 2026

High 2. Not a fan of vocals or melodies, but instrumental songs were good

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Jun 22 2026

I think this is a high 3 for me. Enjoyed it, but highly uncomfortable with moans and sounds of a BJ in my airpods at the gym / at work

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Jun 23 2026

So. Good. Favorite so far

A Wizard, A True Star by Todd Rundgren
Jun 24 2026

Would either be really good or really terrifying while on psychedelics, which I am not so it was neither of those things (2/5)

Jun 25 2026

Good! Not one i'll go back to really, but wouldn't be upset at all if it came on

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jun 26 2026

Really conflicted between 3/4

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Jun 30 2026

Not for me; Where Is My Mind single handedly raises album from 2 to 3.

Stankonia by OutKast
Jul 01 2026

Lot's of good on this album and a bit that's not for me GOOD: Sorry Ms. Jackson and So Fresh, So Clean. NOT FOR ME: Snappin' and Trappin'. Overall good outweighs bad - 4/5

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Jul 07 2026

Spellbound = banger. Not all of it was for me

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jul 09 2026

Honestly this isn't exactly my genre but there are just too many sing along bangers for this not to be a 5. Super catchy fun album, one of my favorites so far. Low 5

Dummy by Portishead
Jul 14 2026
Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Jul 16 2026
Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jul 17 2026

I'm not a huge grunge guy but this was pretty good. As far as a single track goes, Black Hole Sun is up there as top track of any album so far (maybe other than My Sweet Lord from the George Harrison album). Leaning high 3 for this one.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Jul 20 2026

Idk if there's a single track on here that will be in my heavy rotation, but the album as a whole is absolutely awesome. Stuck between 4 and 5... feeling generous so I think low 5 it is.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jul 21 2026

So many absolute bangers on here; All I really want, You oughta know, Ironic

The Score by Fugees
Jul 22 2026

"Family Business" into "Killing Me Softly With His Song" is one of my fav transitions / stretches of an album i've listened to so far. Loving this album so far. Low 5?

Pretenders by Pretenders
Jul 28 2026

I'm just not a grunge guy - 2

Connected by Stereo MC's
Jul 29 2026

Also just not really my genre, maybe 2 or 3. Some good tracks so probably 3.

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Aug 03 2026

Cool sound, does not feel like it's from the 70s at all. Not racing back necessarily, but a great listen regardless. Can't decide whether this is a 3 or 4.

All Mod Cons by The Jam
Aug 05 2026

3; favorite track - English Rose

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Aug 06 2026

Simon and Garfunkel remain one of my favorite bands - the harmonies are just outrageously nice. America, Mrs. Robinson, A Hazy Shade of Winter. There's some weird stuff in this album (Old People Talking????) But i'm a Simon and Garfunkel truther so it gets a 5 even though that's very very generous I think

Medúlla by Björk
Aug 07 2026

I did not enjoy this
