1001 Albums Summary

Dug the title track and N.I.B. The rest is a little indulgent for my tastes. Cool album cover.

Too weird for me. Hard to say it was even influential if I’ve never heard it mentioned ever.

Solsbury Hill is an all timer. Not much else good on this.

The singles are strong, the rest not so much.

Pump it Up is great, but not much on this suggests I should end my 50+ year streak of largely ignoring this dude.

I’ve actively hated all the techno-adjacent albums I’ve been served, but I like this a lot.

This album sucks. Might be the worst shit I have ever heard.

I like the sound, but the rapid fire songs one minute after another don’t give time for any one song to register.

Boring new wave album

It was ok. I liked the ones I remembered from back in the day.

This is terrible. More recent techno crap.

I had heard they were the third wheel of the Oasis/Blur Brit pop duality, but I liked it. Might not return to it too often, but it was good.

Meh. Probably better than Dylan at Budokan, in a “skinniest kid at fat camp” way.
