1001 Albums Summary

Mambo Sun is the same tune as Like You in the jungle book. A funky folk rock vibe, I dig it. I forgot about the song get it on! I didn’t know it was by them.

Initial thoughts are that they have a very jam band feel to them. Everrrybody hurts did not know that was REM! Never really listened to REM before but I don’t mind it. At times it is a little too jam band for me but not terrible.

Classic rock record, I had never heard big ten inch record before and that has a very different sound from their typical sound. More of 50s blues rock record. The always classic sweet emotion and walk this way are quintessential 70s rock songs. Round and Round has a heavier sound that I didn’t know Aerosmith did I like it

Kind of got bored with this album for some reason.

First song is so dope! Really solid album I thoroughly enjoyed it

I really like this album, it has a very chill aesthetic. Probs gonna add some of the songs to my camping playlist.

Wasn’t expecting traditional African music but it is nice. I have never listened to this type of music before. Where does it lead is an amazing song. I love the mix of western songs and traditional African.

I like this album a lot. I have been into the psychedelic rock lately.

I really like the kind of blues influence that was present throughout this whole album. Also this is the first time I listened to a whole Rolling Stones album, I liked it!

Holy shit I have never listened to this full album but I am loving it! Obviously Today is a Good Day is a banger. I didn’t know Check Yo Self was on this album! This album is so high energy. Side note this album should not be relevant in 2021
