Van HalenLove, love, love this album. Hey PJ Harvey, this is how to make music that people want to hear.
Love, love, love this album. Hey PJ Harvey, this is how to make music that people want to hear.
Dull and lifeless, almost as if written to capture the feeling of a talentless hack who did unspeakable things to record executives to get an album produced.
The William Shatner of synth pop.
Dramatic, passionate, soulful. Real, unfiltered music sung by an intense artist with something to say. Fuck off Lorde.
This is such a welcoming introduction to Stan Getz, it feels familiar immediately and sets a perfect mood.

I recognize and acknowledge the revolutionary genius that went into this album, but it's a difficult listen for me.
Hate this so much.
The distinctive sound and clever lyrics that made Bang a Gong fun and memorable, are spread too thinly over way too many lifeless and repetitive songs.
Thoroughly enjoyed the music on this album, not so much the vocals.
Damn, Neil Young can be a bummer. A competent album, mostly a collection of culturally appropriated blues.
While Ray Charles was a genius, his amazing voice was overwhelmed by the big band horn section.
The William Shatner of synth pop.
Gets better with each listening.
Love, love, love this album. Hey PJ Harvey, this is how to make music that people want to hear.
Well... that was a fun ride.
Mostly enjoyable. Seems like the one socialist rap song didn't fit the mood of the rest of the album. Very similar to Skeewiff
Ice Cube was correct, I did need to check myself. I was just about to wreck myself. Thx Bro.
Meh
Not my jam, but can't deny the talent.
Really enjoyed the musicality, not the vocals so much. Why so angry?
Best album ever. Rush at the pinnacle of their creativity
Dramatic, passionate, soulful. Real, unfiltered music sung by an intense artist with something to say. Fuck off Lorde.
Not that sad. Enjoyable.
Hate it. Hate Dylan. Hate Dylan knock off's. Kind of grew on me after awhile.
Ruff.
Grooving grooves.
More fun than I expected. Still, the nasally drone started to wear on me.
Boring.
I was really expecting some excitement based on the name of the band & the album title but this thing sucked.
A little self indulgent, but a lot of fun nevertheless.
Whiny drivel. Shouldn't there be some minimum requirement that a singer should know how to sing?
It's David-frickin'-Bowie.
So smooth. Mmmm hmmmmm.
Smooth grooves, funk, and psychedelic love. So good.
Sweet, sweet, butthole music.
Perfect.
Great Bowie, but uneven.
Groovin'
Mind healed, palette cleansed and chakras aligned - I'm ready for more PJ Harvey. Hendrix is amazing and this album captures lightning in a bottle.
Throbbing tedium.
Not my jam, but she is clearly talented.
Unexpected fun. Love the white boy false bravado. Only a couple of steps removed from rappin' grannies.
Strong, interesting lyrics, old school mix of actual musicianship and a heavy beat.
I'm inclined to give it a higher score than I otherwise might because it's the Who, but honestly it was not that interesting a listen.
Fun, uneven, snapping and poppy. The singles on this album dominated the radio in the late 70s and they leave a fun impression. Some of the other songs are a little harder to deal with, but there are at least a couple of others that could have been singles.
Gawd awful drivel, incessant drone, and pretentious barely begin to describe this work of a genius.
The fun stuff is pretty enjoyable. The rest of it is repetitive filler drivel. Kudos if he can remember the lyrics to a couple of those songs
So good. Not always a fan of live albums, but this is live rock at it's best
So much jams. All the jams. Jammy jam jams
Fun and groovy. Watch yo' mouth!
Waste of time. Drivel.
Background fluff. Nothing exciting, nothing to remember.
Fun throwback sound. Really enjoyed this album. Plus one point for a cool band name
I didn't expect to like it, but it was a really enjoyable album minus one point for crappy band name.
Decent but of fun. Very dated sound.
An excellent blues album, even if you don't care about the groundbreaking sound design.
Muy bien . I love me some Ice T.
Perfect R&B.
Thoroughly enjoyable..
Frenetic. Some interesting stuff, but not my jam.
So much excellence and amazing music. A few odd moments, but who cares.
Very much a sound of its times. Got repetitive pretty quickly.
Fuck Mary Manson. He looks gross (strike one), he's a rapist (strike two), and he's a rapist (strike three).
Enjoyable.
Dull and lifeless, almost as if written to capture the feeling of a talentless hack who did unspeakable things to record executives to get an album produced.
Fun, clever
The frickin' best
More fun than I expected, but not my cup of tea.
It's alright. Nothing special. None of the songs left a lasting impression.
Nostalgic romp with a couple of standout hints of music to come. Felt very corny through most of it.
Mmmmm... tasty.
It's awful to be filled with angst about the injustices of the world but have no talent for lyrics. I suppose it's worse to then inflict that lack of talent on the world.
So many hits.
Good energy. Captured the alt sound of the time as well as any group.
