1001 Albums Summary

I've tried to give Rush a listen before and wasn't particularly interested, but this totally revitalized my interest. Their sound feels unique on this album, and although it was short, I felt like they really found themselves on it. Definitely would listen to again

This album was pretty clearly a very experimental album. It had a lot wide variety of songs in all different styles, but didn't feel very cohesive or focused. It also sounded just like an Elliott Smith style of singer, which I think works for his song writing style and genre, but this was just all over the place. I only liked a couple of songs with "Another Pearl" being the only song I plan on listening to again.

I had never heard of this artist but ended up enjoying him quite a bit. I recognized one of his songs was sampled on a ASAP Rocky song that I like which was pretty cool. I liked listening to it, but don't see it becoming one of my favorite albums I'll listen to repeatedly. Mainly just a background noise type of experience for me.

This album was alright, pretty standard British Invasion era music that really isn’t my thing

I loved this album. I love Courtney Love’s vocal style and lyrics. It’s got a raw honesty even if it’s sometimes hard to admit. I’ve given Live Through This a couple listens and liked it but this was truly amazing

It was a solid album, nothing really stood out to me as particularly special, but I did enjoy it.

This is the first British Invasion era album that I've enjoyed. It still is very much a product of its time, which I personally am not a huge fan of, but still I think I'll give this another couple listens soon

Miles Davis and crew absolutely kill this. Loved it

I liked this album a lot. Not a huge fan of reggae so I doubt I’ll be listening to it often but I enjoyed it while I was.

I’ve already listened to this album prior and loved it. He’s got a fantastic writing style with an ethereal voice that’s hard to pull yourself away from.

Never understood the hype behind Dylan until I heard this album. Just awesome blues with interesting songwriting

I disliked this so much. The lyrics are so infantile and cringey I barely made it through

Fame is a jam

Not really my style of music. I really enjoyed the final track though
