The Joshua Tree
U2One of the great albums of all time!
One of the great albums of all time!
Great album, been a long time since I'd listened to it all the way through.
Such a great album, with so much soul. She's got an amazing voice and all of her emotions come through in every song.
Listening on the train heading home from APC in Ft Lauderdale. Heading home to a wife who doesn't seem to care that I'm heading home at all. Yet to be seen though. Album is perfect for this mood though.
Certainly not sure how this made it into the top 500 albums of the last century. Good album overall if you like the late 60's psychedelic sound. Seems like a rather interesting blend of folk and easy rock that you've never heard of until the last song and then you remember that one song. So essentially a one-hit wonder of sorts.
Taking me back home for sure. Can't grow up a southern boy and not know this album front to back!
Good music but the album started to get really repetitive. Stopped listening half way through the album; however, it's an hour and a half long, so I still got in a full 45 minutes.
Kind of hokie. Easy to listen to and I get the era it came from.
Classic album for Joni Mitchell. Beautiful voice and an easy album to listen.
I'd never heard that album before or even know that Bang a Gong (get it on) was from a band call T-Rex. That was a really cool album, very funky and rock forward. Would listen to that again for sure!
That was a really cool album. Definitely bluesy and rock n roll for sure. I can see why Mick Jagger said they did a better job of that combo than the Rolling Stones did. Loved the lead singers voice, it was really cool.
INteresting album. Very 80's with a large dose of Jazz inspired riffs. Interesting that they were named as one of the best bands of 1984 by Billboard and I've never heard a single song on the album.
Interesting album for sure. Good early punk for sure.
I'm pretty sure I owned this CD at some point in the 90's. Great R&B album for sure from that decade.
Know the album from growing up. It grates on me and it's not enjoyable to listen to--it wasn't back then, it definitely isn't now!
I liked the album. I'm very aware of The Kinks but apparently their later stuff. This was a very cool album and I liked the story it told throughout. Could definitely hear the sound of The Kinks in this early work for sure.
Classic!
Couldn't make it through the first few songs, very weird and very chaotic music.
Never actually listened to the whole album before but it's really cool. I would have never have guessed that Bohemium Rhapsody would have been the last track on that album!
Cool album for sure and I can hear how he influenced so many of my favorite hip hop artists that came after him for sure. This is old school hip-hop story telling, which I love.
Cool album, very happy-go-lucky music.
Definitely not my favorite Radiohead album. This one really starts to drone on and all sounds the same for the most part. Very atmospheric overall.
What an eclectic artist. A lot of variety in terms of style: jazz, Caribbean, easy listening, etc.
I hadn't heard this album before but it's really cool. This is the group that launched De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest, and you can hear them both singing on some of the tracks.
Very weird album for sure. The remix of Justified and Ancient wasn't as good as the original, but it was funny to hear the actual words to the song.
Good country album for sure, lots of classic sounds in the album overall. Yoakam's voice will start to grate on you after a while though, very nasal in it's sound.
Definitely some old school English blues! Good ole Clapton from way back in the day.
Classic album in which you know nearly every song.
Good album by somewhat repetitive overall.
Bjork is very talented, there is no question. But her voice really starts to grate on me after a few songs.
Didn't listen to it the whole way through. Interesting band and cool videos for some of the songs. However, started to get very repetitive overall half way through. The notes would change, but the overall meter of the songs were nearly identical and monotonous.
Truly classic punk album, no doubt. Heard every song and it will take you way back.
Hadn't heard this album before but it's really good. Fun to listen to.
I've heard this album sooooooo many times. This was my go-to in the early 2000's hanging with friends in Boulder/Denver.
Usually like Steely Dan but this album is repetitive and somewhat drones on. Nothing really stuck out.
Something about Ryan Adams that speaks to me. Maybe its that we're from the same hometown and grew up miles apart. Who knows. I do love all his music though!
Seriously one of the best albums of all time!
Love this album. Always a great play when I'm dreaming of warmer climes and beaches.
One of the great albums of all time!
Pretty cool jazz and funk mixed together. Fun album to listen to.
Gotta be in the right mood for that one. Some cool hard rock from the 70's.
Great overall album. Classic for sure.
That album is awesome!
When you know every single song on the album by heart, it's clearly a 5-star album.
