The xxHonestly think I'd rather listen to Autobahn again, this was just so plain.

Another 3 stars, but probably my favourite so far.
No this is the best so far. Will definitely be listening again.
Bit harsh, but I can honestly say I only really liked two songs. First song (Gematria) gave me high hopes for the album, but everything else fell kind of fell flat in comparison. It just wasn't enough for me to rate it any higher.
Took me a second to get into, but once I did I really enjoyed this album, it kept getting better with each song. The last four songs, but especially Jigsaw Falling Into Place really stood out to me. Ended up listening to it a second time and liked it even more.
This is probably the first album that's grabbed my attention so quickly, I started off surprised I liked it so much. It was interesting, creative and I knew at the very least this was going to be ice cube saying insane shit for 1 hour 11 minutes (Which I absolutely got). Special shout out to 'You Can't Fade Me', memorable moments being Ice Cube kicking a pregnant woman in the belly. Honestly, so absurd and over the top it started to be funny. Saying all this, it started to lose me around what the mack? The music itself, as well as the cartoonish misogyny started to become tedious and overwhelming. (Which is something that should be brought up, but I wanted to detach from when reviewing considering thats kind of the point of the album that ice cube is this bad guy. Also he included female rapper Yo-yo which helps to combat this, and definitely makes the album feel more self aware). I'd feel bad giving this anything under a 3, considering based off the first few songs I thought I was going to give it a 4.
I enjoyed this album, but I probably won't go back and listen to it all again. My overall impression was that it was just nice. My favourite songs were Come together and Oh! Darling.
Mixed feelings on this one, I'd like one song and hate the next. My favourites were Moral Kiosk and We Walk.
This was a lot of fun, can definitely see how influential it has been to a lot of music I grew up with.
I've heard about The Velvet Underground for a long time, but never really got around to listening to them. I fell in love with this album immediately, I don't know what took me so long.
Started off liking it, super chilled music, but then I just got bored. Just not my thing I guess.
Never listened to much Billy Joel before, so i wasnt sure what to expect. I feel pretty neutral towards this album, definitely not bad, but not for me. My favourite song was Vienna.
Was pleasantly surprised by this album. Some of the songs were a little out there and a little long, but over all i loved it, especially the first half of the album. Will definitely be listening to this again. My favourite song was Holes
Bit rough around the edges, but still had a good time listening to it. Songs were very hit and miss for me though. F.s Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell
Some songs were OK, but overall very underwhelming.
This album is so fun! Never heard this album before but had high expectations for Blondie and she delivered. Favourite song is Heart of Glass.
Already vaguely aware of this album but never listened to it until now. Deception stood out to me the most, but the whole album was just so fun.
I like The Doors but I don't think this is the best they can do. Definitely a few good songs in there but overall just an ok album. Favourite song is probably Love Her Madly
Meh
I liked her voice and the music was nice, but nothing I'd listen to regularly and I probably won't again. I did like Silver Dagger though.
It was fine, but I don't want to listen to an hour of it.
I didn't finish it.
RIP Morrissey you would have loved 2014 tumblr
Enjoyed this more than I thought, but I think that's from recognising a few songs from films or tv, and getting that weird excited 'ooo I know something' feeling.
Honestly think I'd rather listen to Autobahn again, this was just so plain.
I liked it a lot
I really enjoyed this album, but honestly Leonard cohen's voice could make anything sound good. It was almost a 4 but there were too many songs that didn't quite stick out to me. My favourite song is Diamonds in the mine, I love the rasp and the anger in his voice. I've never heard Cohen like that before, it was everything I wanted from this album.
Not really my thing but, I listened to this while playing stardew valley and it definitely enhanced the experience. I also feel like that's the only reason I like it so idk.
Peaceful but very samey
I've listened to a couple of The monks songs before and thought they were OK, but listening to an album as a whole makes me understand why these guys have such a lasting presence and fanbase (even if it is still very underground). F.s I Hate you
